I got a medium cappuccino 2 sugars at around 10 05 am. Lady was dismissive and unpolite. I drink the coffee, its way too sweet. Get to the bottom of the cup and its like 3cm of sugar just slopped there. So not only is there 3cm undissolved there is way too much dissolved in the liquid. I won't be coming in again and I will be telling people not to visit either. Have a nice day, get better staff. The place looked nice but the lady seemed like she thought she was above working there. Im almost tempted to make a health complaint cos thats crazy. I've drunk two bottle of water and im still thirsty
Edit
Okay so follow up. I call to complain and they continue being extremely rude. I say hey remember me, how many sugars you put in, she says 2. I say listen there is no way that is 2. She says "oh some customers like alot of sugar". I say i only asked for 2 though, she starts yelling. I asked for the manager. He is very blunt and rude also. He says what do you want? I say there's no way I want another coffee, refund it is. He says ok come see me in those words.
I go in, the 5ft Indian bloke is death staring me from the kitchen for a good 10 seconds, the manager apparently. The eyes of a fighter, with fire, you know the look hahaha. So I give the hand gesture to come here, to the counter as he is making me wait and trying to intimidate me. He begrudgingly asks how much he owes me, he knows the amount, i say it, he hands it over then tells me to never do the gesture to him as if he wants to fight now. I say mate i will make whatever polite gesture i like and there isnt much you can do about it. He became more vocally aggresive and his 2 coworkers start going in on the verbal abuse too. So yeah im trying to leave and 3 people are yelling at me trying to get me to stay. Ohh it's just a 5 dollar coffee rah rah rah. Like let me leave this establishment please before something terrible happens to someone. Worst customer service. I will go out of my way to tell people what happened
2nd edit When i first ordered i was the only person in the shop and she made the coffee with in seconds.. like instantly, too quick!! "Refused to speak to her" what are you talking about?? I was too busy watching your manager stair into my soul trying to make my head explode or something
You can paint it however you like. Your version of events is skewed in your favour. Parts of it didn't happen, parts are exaggerated. Your entire staff has extremely poor customer service.
Don't complain about swearing after the guy is death staring me for 10 seconds then demanding I not gesture him to come to the counter. Im gunna swear at a certain point after 3 people are argueing with me at the same time. You should be used to flavoured language it if you are treating people in such disgusting ways
I will say what I saw. Its 2025. Im very aware. He was making out as if gesturing him to come forwards is culturally offensive, so is his culture relevant? Don't try argue with PC rubbish. You are just a bad buisness, not a victim
It is now several days after this happened. I hope this didn't take that entire time to devise.
I will do as I please, you are in no position to be making requests and demands of people after the way you have behaved
We can play tag in the reviews if you like. I already contacted ACCC. Im local and that was my first time trying your coffee. I'll enjoy watching your businesses future endeavours
Defamatory is a biiiig word. Its a review, deal with it. The cameras will back up what I said if you wanna send them to your buddy in law school
Have a good day 🙂
Also its tough times for everyone. I don't think many people have sympathy for buisness owners, when others (including their own staff) are wage slaving just to pay their rent. Maybe if the small buisness treated the people making the coffee better, then they would actually care about their job and not put 3 to 4 tablespoons of sugar in a customers cup cos they are having a tough day. Playing the tough times card applies to everyone for your future reference, customers...
Read moreIt's not until I'm sent out into the "wild" once a year when the A Mano Cafe crew take their well deserved post Xmas break. I only pay $6.20 large cap WITH Oat milk(it's an actual large size WITH x3 shots) AND they don't have an extra % charge if you use your card. I was paying $8+ for a medium, or "large" with x2 shots in the wild. I should definitely mention the handmade Italian sweets! I try and ignore them daily, but occasionally I crumble to their calling, either a massive vanilla slice with the flaky pastry or something new I've spotted in their ever changing cabinet of deliciousness. I'm always greeted with smiles from the girls when I arrive, If only I didn't confuse things and change my coffee size on different days I reckon they'd probably have my order ready if they saw me crossing the road. Fantastic service! As a small family run business that has done their best to actively try to keep prices down in a time when everything is going up, they deserve a shout out!! Plus their...
Read moreBeen there twice. First experience was great, coffee for take away was great and I would have given 5 stars. My second time was different. The vanilla slice is way better than most places yet still the pastry was a bit soggy soft, not crunchy and the super eco friendly, time saver, disposable, wooden knife to cut it was absolutely useless, had the exact same effect as trying to cut with the wooden fork. The young lady made my doppio into what I would describe as a very short long black. Basically a long black after you tip 3/4 of the water out and transfer it into a small cup. No so good. I believe it is a training issue. If you market yourself as an Italian Cafe I expect great, strong, dark...
