My family came here for a casual birthday dinner and had a great time trying the food here. The atmosphere was nice. All meals - the main portions were very generous and the prices were reasonable. I didn’t have a chance to take photos of everyone’s meal. I had Vegan special - it was super delicious the most amazing vegan pho I have ever had so far. We also ordered tofu rice pepper rolls for starters but didn’t like as much unfortunately. Other than that everyone was very satisfied with their own main meal. We also had fried ice cream for dessert, I wasn’t a big fan of how it made ( vanilla ice cream in one layer fillo pastry and fried) , but my family loved it. We will definitely come back to visit again especially for the Vegan special Pho.

Had the special vegan pho. Delicious! The flavour was very intense which is interesting because I'd never had that flavour of pho before (I eat pho at least 2 times a week at different restaurants). I loved the generous mixture of fake meats and the generous size of sprouts. The atmosphere was nice and quiet and the ambience of the restaurant was calm. Only thing I didn't like was the two person table I was sat at because if I sat facing in I would be a step away from another diner but if I faced the other way I was directly facing every. single.car. that stopped at the red lights lol. Awkward eye contact when eating noodle isn't fun. But anyways I'll be back!

We visited Red Lotus for our daughter's birthday during the SE QLD rain bomb. The weather definitely kept a few people away, but business was still good on a Friday night. Red Lotus have been serving fresh flavoursome Vietnamese food for over a decade now and this visit was no exception. The noodle salad with a bit of everything was very popular. Servings are huge and great value. The spicy lemongrass chili barramundi wasn't quite the spice hit my husband was hoping for, but still well received. It's easy to see Red Lotus being around for another decade and more!

Have been a long time loyal customer of Red Lotus for over 8 years now. So much so we decided to have our wedding reception dinner here.

It was so much back and forth, we made the booking in person then called to amend the final numbers. We had so much back and forth about what they would and wouldn’t do. Eventually settled on what they would provide (bare minimum but that’s ok) and we would provide decorations and someone to come and put them on the table and remove them. They had my fiancés number, my number and two email addresses. I went to drop our cake off the DAY BEFORE our wedding to be given absolute foul attitude and sass from the matriarch and told they’d cancelled our booking. Allegedly called my partner every day and they said he blocked their number because I quote “he is probably trying to sabotage your wedding” 🙃 she was absolutely awful and horrible to me. I was not only a very stressed bride the day before a wedding holding a wedding cake, I’m also heavily heavily pregnant. It took me getting a bit loud and assertive in a busy cafe along with the absolute gem of an owner of cafe Omai (Maggie) refereeing to get a solution.

They tried to bully me into having everyone sit outside right on the road, ordering the banquet all sorts of things. I had to then have my whole reception party pre-order food the night before under the guise of them needing to order extra food… also told we had under 90 minutes at the table, which I did agree too. Despite having everyone’s pre-order and me giving them quite a detailed time line that would allow us time to pay the bill and be out there was still a huge delay between entrees and mains. To the point my mum had to go and ask them what was happening with our food. It all then arrived in dribs and drabs meaning the first people who’s food arrived was cold by the time the rest of the table was served. Meanwhile other tables and takeaway service was prioritized over us. I should mention as well we had a table of 14, we didn’t book out the whole restaurant there were still plenty of other tables. Not to mention the constant stream of takeaway orders they still maintained. The matriarch was there on the night and remained ice cold and nasty towards me in particular but also all of our guests. Even tried to charge us twice the cakeage and argued with my mum about it.

Credit where credit is due the food was still delicious and everyone enjoyed what they ate.

Based on the service and experience we had I just cannot recommend this place to anyone. Huge shame as I have loved coming here over the years but their service has gone...

We went here last night in the middle of some crazy rain. But that’s beside the point. This restaurant was cosy and cute, not too busy. We ordered spring rolls, pepsi marinated pork ribs, the crispy skin chicken (which comes with fried rice) the morning glory and barramundi and some cocktail. It was all really good - and great value for money. We ate like kings at a feast. They even had to bring an extra table over which was crazy. I should Have taken a photo but I was too excited. We have leftovers for lunch today. The morning glory was amazing and I really loved the crispy chicken and fried rice. It’s my second time here and I’m really glad we dined here last night. I do think the lighting was a bit too bright and there could be some light music playing to help the vibe. Apart from that, a really good restaurant. At the end my friend said ‘you haven’t seen the last of us’ and he was right. we will be...

I arrived for dinner with my medical assistance dog the owner was not aware of the laws around public access and were unsure about letting us dine in so they were kind enough to set up a table outside for us while they checked with the council and governing bodies to ensure they were not breaking any health and safety laws and the legal requirements regarding service dogs. Once they had checked and found they were allowed to have service dogs in their restaurant they came and apologized for the inconvenience. At all times they were helpful, accommodating and grateful for the education regarding service dogs. Not everyone is aware of the legalities and need for these animals. I would like to thank the owner and staff for their effort and wonderful attitude regarding education as well as accommodating us. … the food was very...
