Their A frame caught my attention and I was curious, so headed downstairs to a huge beautiful space, filled with stunning artwork and a different menu, inspired by native ingredients. I spoke to Chanaya, the waitress who explained they were in the process of changing supplies and menu, so some of the items were not available but there was 4 specials. The chef Dhillip joined our discussion and he suggested he could add some kangaroo to the spinach and mushroom risotto, I was sold for a bargain price of $12. I walked round the gallery until my food was ready. It was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. There was lemon myrtle gently combined with the other flavours and the tender kangaroo perfectly complimented the risotto. I will be back, to enjoy the food, art work and friendly service.

We were invited to an opening night here. Being a relatively new Brisbanite, I was keen to explore this space... it was our first visit. The Gallery/bar/restaurant was easy to find, well signed at # 300 Adelaide Street. The space was warm and welcoming. My partner LOVED the space and vowed that he'd love to visit everytime we come in to the city. This was an opening night for Indigenous artists. It was such a privilege to hear stories of country, and see such beautiful, raw, thought provoking storytelling through art. The hosts of the evening provided great food ( finger food including cooked crocodile bitesize chunks on sticks). (Apparently it is the healthiest food). We're keen to return and sample the coffee and view more great art.

Love this spot. Beautiful art, delicious food. Immaculate vibes & great friendly service. Very unique place. I came for a weekday breakfast and made my own with toast, poached egg, spinach, mushrooms and emu. The emu was smoky, charred and savoury with a hint of spices (not spicy) just absolutely mouth-watering. Took some time to wander around and take a gander at the art and never felt rushed. There are lots of interesting merch available to purchase, home goods, cosmetics, clothing, bags, jewellery. It’s a whole experience and you should plan to spend a fair bit of time here to enjoy it.

I dropped in for breakfast and a coffee as I was in the area for work. It is a cafe and art gallery owned by Aboriginal artist Robert Henderson and his wife. The chef introduced himself as Dean and proceeded to make an excellent coffee and the best smashed avo on toast with poached eggs that I've ever had. It was seasoned beautifully with homemade dukka and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I came back again the next day and the food was equally as good the second time round. Friendly and welcoming staff. The artworks were gorgeous and the atmosphere was great. It's tucked away and you might miss it if you're rushing by, but stop and give the place a go. You will not be disappointed. Dean told me they are renovating soon and developing an Indigenous 'bush-tucker' menu with dishes featuring emu,...
