Last night, we ventured to Hepburns Steakhouse in Waterloo Bay Hotel in Wynnum, and I must say, it was a delightful experience that truly exceeded our expectations!

Upon arrival, the ambiance is clean, spacious, and well-decorated, creating a welcoming environment that promises an evening of relaxation and indulgence.

The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. We felt truly taken care of, and the staff made sure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent.

Now, let’s talk food—because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about 🤤We shared a fresh and creamy burrata for starters, which was a hit at our table.

For mains, I savored a perfectly cooked confit leg Bon Bon, while my hubby enjoyed an eye fillet paired exquisitely with potato gratin. Both dishes were flavorful, well-presented, and simply delicious.

We topped off the meal with a decadent rocky road chocolate mousse, which was a delightful end to our culinary journey, I’ve included some photos of our food - it all tasted as good as it looked 🤤🤤

I had an amazing dinner at Hepburns Steakhouse – it was truly a wonderful experience. The food quality was outstanding, and I can't recommend the Moreton Bay Bug Linguine enough; it was the perfect appetiser.

The dry-aged steak tartare and seared duck breast were both delightful. But the real star of the show was the 500g dry-aged rib on the bone – so tender and bursting with flavor.

Our server, Xavier, was fantastic – he was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even better.

I can't wait to go back. The restaurant's decor adds to the charm; it's cozy, sleek, modern, and has a sophisticated, romantic atmosphere.

A great evening at the Hepburn...we ended up dining here as another restaurant sent our booking confirmation text to someone else and they declined it and our booking was cancelled. Worked out for the best. I don't usually order steak when dining out as it usually ends in disappointment, but I'm glad I did last night. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sides were very substantial (brought a doggy bag of sides home) and savoury. The service from Xavier and Nissrin (hope I spelt it right) was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A great selection of wines, and an awesome version of an Old Fashioned cocktail to finish. Thanks for making our evening so...
