Wynnum Wading Pool — Attraction in Brisbane City

Situated in the Moreton Bay suburb of Wynnum, the Wynnum Wading Pool is a great family destination in the hot QLD summer period or the cooler months of the year. The pool is safe for all ages for year round swimming. The pool area comes with BBQ's and under cover seating, toilets. Their is also the alternative if you are not bringing a picnic lunch of grabbing a seafood feast and other options from the nearby takeaway food shops.

The playground will keep the little ones amused for hours and if that is not enough you can further explore the area by following the bike and walking paths that criss-cross the park. This is a great place to walk along the foreshore for exercise and wellbeing. It is visited by lots of people.

The wading pool has been around for as long as I can remember. You can wollow in the shallow water, sandy bottom, and it is great for family activity for young children to have a swim.

The water park is fantastic. Again, the noise level is extreme, with kids and families having a great time.

Across the road, there are cafes and restaurants.

Then, there is the little beach area to take the kids to as well.

Tides here can be extreme due to the relatively shallow foreshore.

There is a walk along the path that goes out from the shore with a lovely view and a covered rest area.

I love the Wynnum area specialy around the Wynnum wading pool .. Summer is coming and the Wynnum wading pool is the great place to take your kids we have a water park as well next to the pool .. The beach that we have here is good it's great to bring your kids out here .. I love being in Wynnum but I'm a local here so it has everything Wynnum can give to you .. I have lived here for my whole life I'm 49 and I'm still loving every minute of it Yesterday my son and daughter we went for a walk though the mud and we found a lot of interesting things in the mud ..
