Pandanus Beach — Attraction in Brisbane City

Bloody beaut. Took my two mates in wheelchairs there today as well as their doggo. Ate at Graces Takeaway across road which was grouse then enjoyed a long walk on the esplanade and took the lads down the end of a long jetty. There is a walled area that catches seawater where the water is shallow and has lots of steps around the side for taking a dip. There is a ramp for access as well. Lots of shade tress in the grass areas, some BBQ's plenty of places to eat along the roadfront, a foodtruck and a Mr Whippy. Graces Takeaway has Ice Cream in a cone and jolly good shakes for 6 fitty. If your dream beach is the big waves, long stretches of the golden sand and far from people - this is not your kind of beach. However, if you looking for place to put a tent and spend day in it reading book and listening to the whispers of the sea, or you have a children and want to spend day with them alternating swimming in calm shallow water and playing on the playground - that is your kind of place. Beautiful and relaxing bought some sushi from Woolies on Manly road around the corner from Manly Bunnings (highly recommend them they have their own sushi bar as you walk in the store ) we went sat on the grass and enjoyed the breeze not windy at all Love the smell of the ocean.

Great place to bring the kids on holidays popular fish and chips, seawater beachside pool. Walk on the sand. You can walk your dog but not on the beach. Great play area...
