What amazing food and service!!!

We were in a bind, looking for a nice place to eat, quite late at night. It was made even harder with my husband being a celiac AND we had our border collie with us so outside dining was a must. I popped my head in to look but could clearly see there was no outside settings and was just satisfying curiosity at this point. A lovely man (who later I learnt was the owner, Nat) asked if he could assist. I asked if they had outside seating or if they were an inside only restaurant and he replied inside only. I explained I had a dog and was looking for somewhere outside and, after a glance around and a moment of thought he arranged to have a table and chairs taken outside especially for us!!!

The food was delightful (amazing Pad Thai and a green curry, just how I like it, not too hot). The portions were generous and over half the menu was gluten free (great for my husband).

All in all I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. I advised, as we left, that we are moving very close by and will be back again! No doubt we will become regulars and bring the pup on a quiet night every now and then.

The second time I’ve tried this restaurant and both times have been awful. The first time I ordered a green curry with vegetables and tofu, I was served chicken. The waiter took the meal away it came back with the chicken pulled out, no remade. Still no tofu. It was served to me a third time, same meal, cold, with deep fried tofu stirred into it. Still a few pieces of chicken at the bottom. Wait staff didn’t care at all and kitchen staff were unapologetic and unhelpful. Ordered on Uber eats tonight, meals arrived and were awful. Green vegetable curry was white, very little vegetable, no tofu like I had requested, no flavour whatsoever, coconut rice was just boiled rice, no flavour at all. Green chicken curry was white, no flavour, no medium. The deep friend tofu was like rubber and impossible to chew. I called to complain and the man on the phone kept laughing saying there’s nothing he can do and they make it like normal, whatever that means. Unhelpful and unapologetic for the second time. Honestly the worst Thai I have ever eaten. Absolutely do not recommend this...

Very disappointing. Pad see ew is passable, but the "garlic and pepper" sauce on the soft shell crab and the pork is just oil. And I usually love oily food but this was tasteless oil. The soft shell crab and pork both overcooked, dry, powdery and flavourless. Burnt in some parts. The vegetables are fresh, I guess? That's probably the only thing that was enjoyable. I microwaved some jasmine rice and poured the vegetables over, added some Oyster sauce and gave the pork pieces to the dog. Also - soft shell crab seems to just be 1 small one. Most other places sell them around $10 each so you're paying all that extra for oil and vegetables. May as well make it at home. We got the green curry but i didnt have any - the one who did said it was fine, so that's probably okay too, but his favourite food is frozen pizza so, not much of a food person. We were late to pick it up, so didn't expect piping hot, but this level of cooked is definitely from the kitchen, not from sitting in the...
