I have been a customer of MAB - Rosalie 2-3 times a week for the past 3 years. Matt, Damo, Fraser, David, Ben, Eliah and the whole team provide not only superb ethically and sustainably sourced products, but have established a welcoming, fun and engaging store that contributes to the vibrant Rosalie community. Whilst being a customer of their's I have learnt about the local producers and farmers they source their produce from, how to cook a wide range of dishes, what to look for in good meat, been sang happy birthday, and greeted as a member of the family every time I have attended.

The team have always helped provide exactly what I may be looking for, whether it is a made-to-order ghost chilli sausage, bones and paper thin steak for Pho, or duck eggs for a baking project, they go above and beyond typical customer service. Regardless of the demeanour of customers, I have always experienced the team here to be welcoming and professional to all.

I can't praise this butcher shop enough! The service is outstanding, and the quality of their meat is unparalleled. Every Saturday, I eagerly visit to indulge in their delectable porchetta, ham off the bone, and pork and fennel sausages. The flavors are simply amazing! What sets this place apart is not just their incredible selection but also the consistently high quality of their products.

The staff here is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help me find the perfect cuts for my culinary adventures. My family and I have shopped here since Billy opened his second store here in 2016. In fact a friend had his shop close by and I had continued to shop with the opposition. It is a true testament to the staff at this, the flagship store 😉. The staff are ALWAYS respectful and helpful ( Coming from me a hospitality professional of 30 years) With the current COVID restrictions it is limited to two at a time and I have read some negative comments which I have never seen or experienced at the store and I am here 3/4 times per week. Possibly they were having a bad day and took it out on the staff. I have a relative that has a cattle property and he ALWAYS requests beef from the store to be brought out to his property 5hrs west of here. That is testament to the quality of the product.
