Humble cafe is a hidden gem in Southport that offers delicious brunch dishes with Asian-inspired twists. The cafe is bright and airy, with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, and the coffee is smooth and strong. I ordered the Pacifico soft shell crab Benedict, which was made with deep-fried panko soft-shell crab, smashed avocado, poached eggs, paprika, chilli holandaise, slaw and brioche toast. It was one of the best brunches I have ever had, with a generous portion of crab meat and a creamy sauce. The croffles were also amazing, especially the cinnamon apple flavour. They were soft and fluffy on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. The taro-infused drinks were refreshing and unique, such as the Water Lillies, which was made with purple sweet potato and taro crushed ice, vanilla, full-cream milk, matcha and butterfly-pea-infused tea. This café offers both fantastic coffee and uniquely crafted meals, making it a standout spot. The food here is truly special—innovative, fun, and delicious. We ordered a burger, fried chicken, and chips, but what made it unforgettable were the creative twists, like pairing crispy fried chicken with waffles. Every dish was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds, blending familiar favorites with exciting new flavors.

The service was excellent—friendly and efficient. Despite visiting on a Sunday, when many cafés in the area are closed, we were grateful to find this gem open. We didn’t book ahead and waited about 5 minutes for a table, which was quite reasonable.
