Bunurong Environment Centre — Local services in Inverloch

Did the Dinosaur Discovery to Eagles Nest tour. Highly recommend it, especially for dinosaur interested kids (and adults!). Mike Cleeland the Palaeontologist who performs the tours is awesome. Tour starts with an info session and hands on exhibits at the environment centre, then meet at Eagles Nest and walk around looking for dinosaur bones and fossils. The Shell Museum was one of the best collections that I have ever seen before. An easy-access place right at the centre of Inverloch with a vast set of shells from all over the world. It is well-categorised in bright class cabinets that help you explore and learn more about shells and oceans with the cost of a small donation. I called in here on Sunday and couldn't get over the variety of items for sale which were environmentally friendly. The shell museum had so much variety and the displays were very educational. It was great that the kids could look at books and play with puzzles while I shopped. Very friendly shop. I was hoping to go on the dinosaur excursion, but there wasn't one available.
