New Inverloch Palace — Restaurant in Inverloch

Very disappointing. I used to order food from them and I used to tell friends that this place is not too bad despite bad reviews. And now, I was trying to place an order for takeaway and I just asked how big the serving of fried rice was and the person on the phone straight up abused me and yelled at me. He was going off “you tell me!!!! You call here and ask me?!” He kept yelling for god knows how long. I was so shocked as it came out of nowhere, he started yelling non stop and I couldn’t believe it. Pure rage issues! I guess everyone has a right to be stressed but to abuse a customer just for asking a simple question is not acceptable. I am Asian and I try to support the asian community and businesses around but this is what happened. So very disappointed. I used to encourage friends to try this place but after this, nope. We shouted our family some Chinese and I will never go back again we spent $175 and I was shocked at the prices of the meals and starting out with the special fried rice there was no carrott and I think it was lucky to have about 6 peas in it and that was it oh and about 4 shrimps and the rice was absolutely disappointing and honey chicken I think that the bees all went on holidays and it had no taste and stay chicken I personally had was burnt so I will be going to the bass coast shire tommorow to make a complaint and you would normally get a complimentary packet of prawn crackers but no got nothing so we called to tell them and all we got was attitude and I'll let the chef know so we will not ever be going back and I'm certain to be letting the family and our friends...

We went in and had a banquet for two. I'd definitely recommend that for people going in for a 'sit down and catch up' with friends or for a date night. The people were friendly and the food was awesome. It was definitely worth the price. The spring rolls and sauce were a highlight but everything was pretty good. Over the course of it we had the spring rolls, chicken noodle soup, black bean beef, honey chicken and with the deserts we chose the banana fritter and the deep fried ice cream. There wasn't a single disappointment. The inside could do with a bit of an update but if that's all we can notice, they're doing well.
