The Beach Box Cafe Inverloch — Restaurant in Victoria

This was the most disappointing coffee experience I’ve ever had. I ordered an iced latte (not “iced coffee”). For a coffee shop with fairly good reviews I thought this would be the destination to go in town. Boy was I wrong.. after waiting 20 mins for the coffee I went inside to check the status and they said it was on its way. They brought out the coffee fairly soon after and it had a blob of ice cream in it which I took back inside as an iced latte by any standard does not include ice cream and it’s not what I wanted.. I asked them nicely if they could please remake it which the young female barista said she would. Within minutes I was presented with a seemingly different iced latte but once I took a sip I was presented with a sickeningly sweet taste and realised they had just taken out the blob of ice cream. Whoever did this - shame on you. An ice latte is espresso ice and milk of choice with optional sweetener. If you can’t make a very simple coffee and don’t like being corrected on it then I don’t know what else to say. Try a different profession (and I was making espresso coffee at the age of 12 and have a long history in customer service). What you did to my coffee this morning is extremely unprofessional and you should be ashamed of yourself. What might be funny to you ruined my whole morning and I ended up leaving the coffee on the table untouched and had to source an alternative down the road which I got within 2 minutes of ordering and exactly what...

Credit where credit is due, the poor staff were working on a 36° day and were very much under the pump. My partner and I ordered an iced latte, an orange juice and a breakfast burger. The latte came out quickly, the burger came out after 20 minutes, to which the lady said she had been calling out our order name multiple times. (It had not happened, we were waiting at the door patiently waiting for the meal.) We waited another 10 mins for the orange juice to only be told the juicer had just broken. This is fine, I understand that this does in fact happen! We were offered another drink in its place, but by this time we were just ready to go.

Unfortunately a disappointing visit to the cafe this time. I'm sure it's not always like this and we were a victim of circumstance at a very busy time...

Unfortunately these guys failed today during our dining experience. Not only did they not put the order through, they lied about it to try and cover and then brought out the wrong order in the end. A cute brunch day turned into an hour and a half of waiting around and being unsatisfied with the result.

You're servers weren't honest and admitted they forgot or didnt put through my order instead they lied about some delay in the kitchen, I was waiting around for over an hour for my meal and everyone else at my table had been served and finished their drinks and meals before mine was even brought out.
