The mighty Standpipes lobbed up to a slice of paradise on our November club getaway. The bakery was one on our hit list after a recommendation and didn’t disappoint. A few notes: - service was super efficient, too efficient to be friendly - the coffee + apple scroll combo was great value - delicious coffee - neenish tarts were good, jam tart better than good - pastie temperature was deemed to be “perfect” by one of our members - snitzle roll was good, not great Overall we vote this place as a great bakery - thanks -

They should have a menu outside, tiny shop and you can only see what's available when you get to the counter, if people know what they want while they are lining up would speed up the process a lot. And they should really tell people if there is capsicum in their sausage roll, the smell is offensive to some people, and it's a unusual ingredient in a sausage roll.

A little disappointed in the pie and sausage roll. I was told how good they were but I felt my steak & mushroom pie was under cooked, it was quite soggy. My hubby had the sausage roll and said it was ok.

Arrived here on Saturday 24/5/25 at 1.50pm with my family to purchase some pies since we had been traveling and were hungry. Let me firstly say, the customer service was terrible. I barely even got a hello. The lady with dark hair and glasses seemed annoyed that we were arriving so close to closing time. She had a smug look on her face the whole time like we were inconveniencing her. We ordered 3 pies, 1 sausage roll, 1 vegetable pastie, 1 bottle of soft drink and 2 vanilla slices. You charged me $62 for ‘barely’ warm food and not to mention it didn’t taste very good at all. It’s a bit hard to go back and say anything as when we left you pulled down the blind and put the closed sign up. I believe you over charged me for these items, it’s pretty ridiculous to go to a bakery and be charged $63 for a few items. I probably wouldn’t have cared too much if the food and service were actually good. I wouldn’t recommend this bakery to...

I’ve heard good things about this bakery and was excited to try it. I’m quiet the custard tart connoisseur and found their custard tart to be below average coming in at a 2 out of 5 stars.

I must admit that I was disappointed at the quality of the tart. The custard was a firm silicone texture, rather than the creamy jelly like consistency that melts in your mouth. The biscuit base was pretty stock standard so no qualms there.

The bakery was a lovely place, lovely people,...
