Caffetteria 295 — Restaurant in Melbourne

If you’re Asian don’t bother coming here this is an Asian cafe so basically when you order food for dine in after they serve the food you help yourself with cutlery and no water offer here too. But if you’re Caucasian feel free to come because they will serve you like a Queen and King. It’s sad seeing this type of service these days but I’m not surprised as some Asian place pick which customers to serve very well. Unlike me and the other Asian (Indian) no cutlery given she didn’t bother offering it. While the two caucasian ladies got offered and she even offer cutlery when she ordered a wrap! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m very observant customer and will not come back here. FYI, I wasn’t rude when I ordered my food. I’ll stick to my café that runs with Caucasians always service is good! This is a lesson learnt from me to avoid as much as possible to go in café if it’s runs by Asians! I haven’t found a good café that runs by Asian. Sadly. I’ve ordered so much food from this place over time, but unfortunately the quality and attention to detail just keep going downhill. A few weeks ago, I ordered a mango smoothie and it arrived without a straw — not a huge issue, but still frustrating. I decided to give them another chance today and ordered a BLT, and it was just disappointing. The bread was completely burnt, they forgot the aioli (which I paid extra for), and the portion of chips was tiny. It’s really frustrating when you’re a regular customer and keep getting let down. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced before. Waited north of 20 minutes for 1 meal, the other meal being brought out individually as a croissant. Gave normal milk when paid for and ordered lactose free milk which made my friend unwell. Asked for a refund on eggs due to taking too long and was declined and told to wait and treated rudely.
