I actually saw that the young nun scolding an elderly women who requested to transfer money for an offering. This is disgraceful and disappointed! As a Buddhist practitioner she should show more compassion toward elderly, not behave like this. This young nun is new, I never seen her before. She was so impatience toward the elderly then should not be a nun in the first place. The public go there to gain peace, not get scolded! First time seeing the young nun behave like this, may be she is exceptional. I reckon the head of discipline board should take action against such disgraceful nun! Don't let her ruin the well known Fo Guang...

This temple has a very lovely vegetarian cafe and their food is delicious! I ordered the dry noodle as recommended and it did not disappoint. The lady at the counter was so lovely and it made the entire dining experience so nice 😊

I was also recommended the butter chicken fried rice, so I ordered that for takeaway. Looking forward to try it!

Sitting next to the garden is also so lovely. You seem to be eating with the Buddha ☺️

They are only open for lunch Tuesday- Sunday...

Great temple with good vegetarian food. This is my go to temple everytime. Peace and quiet up at the Buddha praying area and beautiful atmosphere alround. There's is also a shop selling Buddhism items which is great. The vegetarian lunch menu is value for money and...
