I keep coming here for a cheap bite to eat. The best thing is you leave so full, and the flavour is through the roof. I always get either the zaatar or lamb pizza (or both). I mean $8 for both, and then you are done until dinner. It's super tasty, and the added lemon and chilli on the lamb pizza gives it a nice little kick. Coffee is above average. However, when it is busy, the service drops away slightly. I ordered a coffee today, and no one was at the machine to make it. I got my food and walked over to the coffee machine where an employee asked me why I was there, and I told them I was waiting for my coffee to be made. I can't wait to try the meals here as they do look amazing.

Just landed in Melbourne for work and needed a hearty Lebanese breakfast before a long drive—so we decided to try Sumac. OH BOY, did it deliver! The food was not only delicious but also super generous. We ordered the spinach and cheese pie, eggs with shankleesh, and fatteh. The eggs? 10/10. The spinach pie? 9/10 (just needed to be a touch hotter). The fatteh? We asked for it to be heated up more, as we love it served hot—like in Lebanon—but the flavors were spot on and absolutely delicious! Friendly and helpful service with a smile! Would we come back? Without a doubt!

We come here almost every second weekend, the price to quality is ratio is through the roof! They bake their breads here fresh and the Zaatar is so much better made fresh. The falafel platter and the pides are excellent along with the dips. The bakery gets very busy during lunch time as local Lebanese dining in, the bakery seats roughly 40 people with full service to table. Parking is around the back of the store. There’s also the yoghurt drink that completes the whole Lebanese experience.

Love the idea of a Lebanese bakery in Niddrie Keilor road . Great idea the area lacks that it’s all just pizza pasta etc . Although first few times I came here was good the lamagine was nice the . Although the two last times I ate here wasn’t the same the meat fell off the bread . Tried it a second time happened again . It’s fine for me isn’t a complain . I just suggest maybe a few more minutes in the oven so it sticks . Just my feedback . It’s such a treat for the area because it is although nice food for the area that you can’t get unless travelling to either Brunswick Northcote Preston etc it’s nice just needs to fix that and be a bit more consistent. Flavour is great maybe just had a few off days . But that’s all I am saying for you to improve with the lamagine /meat pizza . Also service maybe need a little tweaking just come up and maybe give a bit more hospitality . Slightly got potential foods been good first few times . Just keep that up and improve on those minor issues . For the area it’s great and better than most places on Sydney road Brunswick but has a few other competitors around that area I want you to be better than those and it’s a treat being so close to family home . Great staff there no competition in the area so that’s a bonus . Just needs those few tweaks . And I’ll keep coming back as I visit...

Words can't be used to explain the atmosphere here only face to face contact. On arrival, you know it's a family environment. Culturally diverse, friendly without over doing it, hard working and will try to cater to dietary requirements. Just a personal experience of mine.... I have a no yoghurt requirement but love the fatte dish here and is traditionally made with it. They understood and suprised me with an outstanding tasting dish that I have turned into a staple dish that I pretty much only order, so much so, they are calling it Joe's fatte.

Truly and humbly will tell all friends, family and locals walking pass me to go for a coffee and a bite........
