Unfortunately we were incredibly disappointed last night. We arrived for dinner at 7.20pm. We arrived and stood waiting for wait staff who came out, we asked for a table of 4 and they cleaned a table for us to sit. We were given menus and the wait staff ran off to serve other tables. We ordered food and drinks approximately 10 minutes after arrival once we got the attention of the wait staff. The wait staff were incredibly apologetic and explained that they had a function upstairs. We then waited 45 minutes for drinks which we had to remind them of, 60+ minutes for our food. The most frustrating was 2 tables that sat after us, got food and drinks well before us and another table (who walked out just before our food was delivered and they were there before we arrived). The food was ok, however the dining experience watching wait staff running around and mistakes being made because they were under pressure was uncomfortable with everyone. Tables were left with empty plates and crockery as the staff didn't have time to clear tables. We understand that it is incredibly difficult in hospitality at the moment however you need extra staff on especially when you have a function. The service can make or break a restaurant. We will be choosing to go elsewhere for a little bit and hope that you can get it all together as this is the second time we have come and its been...
Read moreI wish that I could leave no stars. We decided to brave the heat and storm early on Friday evening to satisfy a craving for tacos. We were left for at least 3-4 minutes before being greeted or seated.... which doesn't sound long.....but it felt like eternity. We then sat for 20 mins, totally ignored before my husband got up and asked for a waitress to please come and take a drink order. He had a lemon margarita which tasted like ice and lemon....no alcohol. My iced water arrived.....and I was not asked again if i would like another drink to follow..... (which I would have) After another period of being ignored we finally ordered our meal. We both ordered two beef tacos and one beef enchilada. The waitress was totally unable to understand this. Realising that she was having difficulty I very politely and clearly explained that we both wanted the same order, two tacos each and one enchilada each. That seemed to work.....until the meal arrived. One taco each....my husband burnt on his arm by the waitress putting the hot plate across him.....and a very ordinary enchilada. Never again.....train your staff .... ( and don't have staff on a break eating at a table in the restaurant when service is so non existant). Eating out is something to enjoy......we were just hungry and frustrated with...
Read moreI have been looking for authentic Mexican since I moved back from the USA (I lived there for 12 years). The food at Taco Bill is very authentic - the salsa was amazing, I can not really comment on my fajita because I was so hungry when it arrived I just ate and did not taste.
And that is why I am giving it a 2 star. My main took 55 minutes to arrive - way to long. Yes they were very busy but there are ways to solve this problem. 1 - More Staff. You know how busy you are going to be because almost all your customers book. Your staff were run off their feet with the food and the drink orders. 2 - Stop delivery during busy times. If your kitchen can not handle the food orders from the people in your restaurant then they can not handle delivery. I saw driver after driver taking food orders while I waited for mine. 3 - Smaller Groups. If your kitchen is busy with the main orders for one table every other customer has to wait for their entrees. 4 - Warning. When you know your staff are slammed and someone walks in to eat in, warn them it is an hour wait. Let your customer decide if they want to waste an hour scrolling through their phone while...
