Read moreAfter waiting months to see a gynecologist I found Dr Soundaram in August 2024. At this point I had been bleeding heavily for 4 months straight, with most days spent in the fetal position in chronic pain and fatigue effecting every aspect of my life. Dr Soundaram ran all the tests and scans and I even provided him with previous surgery reports from a laparoscopy surgery I had for endomitriosis in 2016. With all this information Dr Soundaram told me "your results are all normal", "your endomitriosis is not severe enough to do surgery", " your BMI is to high and if you loose weight you will feel better" Dr Soundaram was not listening to me and what my body as a woman was telling me that something was not right. I then waited another 3 months before i seen another gynecologist, at this point i was desparate and so exhusted. In November 2024 he completed the surgery and I was diagnosed with severe endomitriosis and PCOS, my ovaries had cemented themselves to the back of my uterus confirming it certainly warranted surgery. Dr Soundaram's approach didn't make me feel seen or heard but rather uncomfortable, hopeless and very upset and he was solely focused on the fact I was in a same sex relationship and the possibility for IVF when that was not what I was wanting. I would not recommend seeing this gynecologist if you are struggling with Endomitriosis. I would sum up my experience with Dr Soundaram as nothing short of...
Read moreWe are so grateful to have found Dr Soundaram to be my OB during my first pregnancy. For having stage 4 endometrosis, and been told for years IVF is the only way, it was a surpise to concieve naturally but also very nerve racking. For what I thought would be a smooth pregnancy, I was faced many challenges along the way, leading to a high risk pregnancy/birth. The whole process from start to end was amazing, from the compassion and care, to the things we could laugh about. He made my partner and myself very comfortable in all appointments, he explained all tests and outcomes, and listened to my birth plan and did everything he could safely to follow it. I do believe if I was to have someone else as my OB, my birth plan would have been thrown out the window. Dr Soundaram blessed us with a perfect, healthy little boy - we can't...
