Thirsty Swagman — Local services in South Perth

Our 3rd time at Oktoberfest with Thirsty Swagman and it was amazing once again! Kenneth and his crew take such good care, handle all of the important stuff and always keep you up to date, from months ahead when you’ve booked, to festival time.

Our reservations are taken care of and all we have to do is show up. Hotels and tents with food, DONE. ✔️ The hotels are all close to the fairgrounds, so it’s an easy walk. Also easy walking distance to and from the central train station. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail is top notch. I honestly don’t know how they handle the groups, food and drink tickets (oh my gosh- THE FOOD!), and just their welcoming attention for each guest, with such ease. We’ve made friends from all over the world in the Thirsty Swagman group. We’ve sang songs with strangers, ate tasty food and have had an all around FANTASTIC TIME!! The guides are also great and so much fun. Extra honorable mention to the One & Only Max 😬

Normally my husband and I travel alone but we’ve talked about this trip so much that we had about 14 friends join us this year. Oktoberfest should be on your bucket list, if it’s not already. Kenneth and Thirsty Swagman should absolutely be the group for you. See...

If you're considering a trip to Germany for Oktoberfest, this is the company to do it with! We traveled from New York, USA for their "Beer or Bust" tour which started in Munich with Oktoberfest and then went on to Regensburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, and ended in Stuttgart with Cannstatter Volksfest.

Everything from the luxury bus to the different hotels was on point. (Just keep in mind that a 4* hotel is different in a major city vs. a medieval one! They were all clean and in great areas of each city.)

The most important part of a tour like this is the people who are your guides. The Thirsty Swagman has the best in the business. They were knowledgeable, kind, and a ton of fun to be with. Something that stood out about them to me was their ability to balance between letting us enjoy the discovery of travel on our own, yet always be there if we struggled or had any questions (or even if we just wanted to share a beer together!).

Thank you to Kenneth and the entire crew at Thirsty Swagman. Back in 2022, my siblings and I decided a family trip to Germany (our fathers family is of German heritage) and stumbled upon Thirsty Swagman Tours for Oktoberfest. From our initial inquiry, juggling multiple bookings, a few changes, and endless questions, Kenneth and his team were amazing. Everything, I mean everything, went off without a hitch. We opted for the Le Meridien hotel, mid-week package. The hotel was great; comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast, and very close to the festival grounds. The beer tents were so much fun; great music, fabulous atmosphere, delicious food. Having everything arranged for us made it soooo much more enjoyable. As my family's travel planber and my background in travel/meeting planning, I understand just how much goes into an event such as this. And we are so grateful for everything Kenneth and the Thirsty Swagman Tours did to endure a memorable experience was had by all. Until next...
