Good ice cream and lactose and gf options to an extent but horrible customer service, the older lady working at the counter kept trying to charge us an extra dollar for everything, including the cup for the icecream and then did not even give us a spoon. One of the nicest and most authentic ice creams I have ever had.. tried Vanilla and Rum n Raisin both absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a great ice cream and good old fashioned customer service then make sure you visit Montys. We had ice creams and milkshakes. Took us 3 hours to decide which flavour (of course). Staff were very patient with my kids and even offered to do half half for one scoop so they could try two flavours. Very kind and happy to be accomodating. We will be visiting each time we head up to the hinterland....
