( Old pictures , Due to covid hope to visit there again ..) Avoid the crowds at Bondi Beach by heading to Camp Cove, Sydney’s most intimate beach, where you can pitch your umbrella at the very doorstep of one of the city’s priciest homes before floating in the wave-free harbor. Immediately north of Watsons Bay, the small swimming beach of Camp Cove is popular with both families and topless sunbathers. When Governor Phillip realized Botany Bay didn't cut it as a site for a convict colony, he explored north into Sydney Harbour, dropped anchor and sunk his boots into Camp Cove's gorgeous golden sand on 21 January 1788.

Perfect stop for the beach in Sydney. Took the ferry over to Watsons bay, was a 20 minute ride to get to the area, and then a 10 minute walk to get here. Perfect summer spot although there were lots of kids there on a Monday. Would recommend as well as the walk to the end of Watsons Bay

My favourite beach in Sydney - love swimming in the Harbour. Easy to get to - don’t drive - get Uber or bus or even better the ferry. Have lunch at pub, then go to each and swim and then back to out later for a drink. Great snorkelling and keep an eye out for seahorses.
