Flavor's Patisserie Earlwood — Local services in Sydney

Was there yesterday and bought the Oreo covered tsoureki and coffees, both of which were fantastic. We had heard this place has just opened and wanted to see what the fuss was all about. The staff were extremely friendly and its was evident that they were trying to find their feet having only opened a short time. And I believe in time, the staff will. Every table was taken, clearly a sign how great this new place is. My only criticism was one of the older female staff member (Eleni?) was continously chewing gum as though she was a teenager waiting for a bus! From a customer's perspective, standing opposite her waiting for our order, it showed a lack of judgement and professionalism. For a moment I thought I was in Athens not Earlwood. Disappointing and overpriced. The owner of the joint drives around in a yellow porsche and his missus in a mercedes. The crazy prices being charged to customers is absurd. The owner danny margaritis stands on the street smsokimg cigaretts with mates that come last and they jusy stand there. Then goes behind the counter and serves people. Place is physicslly clean and the foods on displsy look pretty. However again overpriced. Suspect some of their prodicts are actuslly stpre bought and then jujjed up to justify cost. A friends son is a can collector for extra paper and the staff let and noticed coles mudcake packages im the garbage and sara lee icing cases. Hpw sad. Waited ages for this place to open so went especially to Earlwood to try it today. No table service - not even menus on the table and no way of making sure no-one takes your table while you are inside working out what to order. Turns out they don't have menus just three boards displaying the menu high up behind the counter and spaced so far apart one has to wander back and forth to digest what's on offer. Order at the counter, pay, take a number and then return to your table. If you want another coffee - go through the same ritual again. Food-wise seems you can have cake or ice cream or savoury pastry but, didn't seem to have anything substantial on offer. Nothing standout or really enticing.
