U Know Thai Takeaway Earlwood — Restaurant in Sydney

So disappointed. UKnow has been one of our must haves when we come to Sydney for years, but somethinng has changed and we won't be coming back. The food is no longer awesome, or even good. Mediocre is the best I could say about it. The Treasure bags were tastless and full of peas, corn and something greyish. The entree wings had lost their fresh tasty flavour. The duck pancakes were bland. The yellow chicken curry was lacking that spicey thainess and the fried rice was ordinary. Our pork dish was totally missing a key ingrediant, the pork, it was a container of not so crisp veges (note: on returning the dish they did replace with pork, so inconvenient while having dinner) Once replacement obtained the pork was dry and chewy. Also they have removed key items from the menu. You can no longer get the duck salad, coconut rice or prawn chips. They were just the items we noticed when ordering. To top it off the price appears to have significantly risen. Our order used to cost around mid $50s at most, whereas this order was over $90. Would definately NOT recommend. So...

I'M PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS PLACE! Highly, highly recommend the crispy basil chilli pork - SO GOOD! Their beef massaman is particularly good too - flavourful sauce with hearty chunks of beef that melts in your mouth.

Excellent value for money! Delivery always arrives quickly with free prawn crackers + the food's always hot and packaged so it won't leak. Lovely, friendly staff. Cute, cozy dine in area.

We've probably either eaten in or had delivery more than 40 times since we moved to the area. In the past we've had the chicken wings, "Homer" puffs, money bags, chicken pad se ew, chicken red curry, laksa, tom yum soup... the list goes on. All tasty and totally standard. We've never had...

Called up and grabbed a takeaway cashew nut stir fry with spring rolls. Really satisfied my cravings, food itself was very good. Was no delays, service was great both on the phone and in person. Atmosphere inside’s a tad small and limited so if you want a big function maybe look elsewhere. I’d probably argue it suits being more of a takeaway place due to its small size. It’s also on the steeper side of things price wise (maybe $16 would be fairer for takeaway curry) but the value is there. There are some issues, but not enough to significantly bring it down. 4.1.
