Bought 4 lovely bowls from the store in Greenhills Maitland, and the first time we used them, one bowl had the paint flake off the outside of the bowl. No big deal, it happens sometimes so we returned it today for a replacement and the girl in the shop tried to tell us that once we buy them, it is our problem. We reminded her that in Australia, items sold must be fit for the purpose for which they are sold, and this bowl was obviously not. Eventually she did exchange it, but very reluctantly. Had a lovely experience wandering into this store, with the hospitality of a free treat of Turkish delight (delicious) and a Turkish apple tea or coffee. The lamps are stunning, reasonably priced, and their rugs are beautiful. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short and didn't make it back to Newtown - but would love to see their rugs listed online one day to browse the selection.
