I recently visited this phone center to get a screen protector for my Apple Watch, which cost me $30. Unfortunately, within just two days, bubbles appeared under the protector. When I returned to the store to address the issue, I encountered a very disappointing level of customer service. The staff, including two girls named Nischel and another girl who assisted me initially, were dismissive of my concerns. While I was explaining the issue, they were more interested in their own conversation, speaking in their language about personal calls instead of focusing on helping me. This lack of professionalism was unacceptable. After some back and forth, they offered me a $30 credit, removed the faulty protector, and insisted that the issue was due to a problem with the product they received. They even tried to convince me to purchase another cover, despite the obvious quality issue. This experience left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others based on the poor quality of the product and the lack of proper customer service.

Terrible customer service, unprofessional/rude staff and worst experience I’ve had as a consumer. My iPhone 6 charging port stopped working so I brought it to this shop it have it replaced for a nice fee of $60. After 30 minutes, the port was replaced and working fine however a short time later when I tried to play music the speaker was no longer working. I tried various steps and sounds and nothing worked. I did some research and noticed that this was a common problem when changing the charging port and it is right next to the speaker. The next day I brought my phone back to explain the situation with the information I had gathered and requested to have the speaker fixed at no cost (I did not ask for a refund) and the staff advised me it wasn’t their problem as the charging port and loudspeaker are two separate parts and they wanted me to pay to have it repaired as their policy states that because they replaced my charging port and had nothing to do with the loudspeaker. When I explained it was working fine prior to changing the port, they then told me my phone is old (it is 3 years old but in perfect working condition) and refused to help me because he has been in the industry for 3 years and I was a liar who gave them a faulty phone. I asked for a manager they would not oblige and ignored my request. At one point the worker stated he was the manager even though I knew he wasn’t as he called his manager to ask a question about the pricing. I asked to open the phone to show me everything was fine and they refused to help. When the manager finally came and I told him what had happened he told me the exact same thing as the workers. Out of good faith he offered to put one of his speakers in to see if it works as he believed it was an issue with my “old phone”. To no surprise, the speaker didn’t work. Furious I left the store and went to a different technician the day after where I explained the situation. He advised me that the loudspeaker was not working because the charging port installed by Mobile Experts was second hand and faulty. He changed the port and my speaker started working. I went back to the store with my receipt and faulty piece requesting a manager or a refund and the worker who refused to give me his name was rude and would not assist me. I threatened to go through fair trading if he wouldn’t help out and he told me to do so. He then decided to inform his manager that I was harassing him and threatened to call the police which I did not. After three days of arguing with the store and sending a lengthy complaint through email (there is apparently no head office as I attempted to contact them through email and the email was sent to the manager of this store), the manager decided to call me and refund me if I would return the port and receipt (which I did). Even this process was not smooth as he accused me of harassment and threatening his staff (which I did not) and told me I was not allowed to stand outside the store as it is a form of harassment when the store is located in a shopping centre surrounded by multiple stores. Security were never called by the store or other stores around which proves I did not threaten or harass anybody, but the workers are trying to save themselves from this situation. All I wanted was my phone to be fixed and to be reimbursed for the faulty part as I had to pay someone else to fix it, and it took 3 days to achieve such a simple procedure which I explained at the start. I will never return to any mobile experts store as this experience was the worst experience I’ve had as a consumer. Based on other reviews, I’m not the first person to have this issue at the store, and I know I won’t...

Pretty disappointed after my most recent experience, I've been taking my phones here for years to have screen protectors on and even have encouraged others to go here as I've never had an issue in previous years. I had a screen protector put on and after about 2 weeks it started bubbling, they told me i had 12 months warranty. So i returned after 3 weeks to fix it and they asked for proof it was them, that's totally fine, but i knew i didn't have receipt on me, but they said bank records are fine, so i went and got my husband's phone and found the receipt on the banking app, there were actually 2 on there, as i had my phone done and then my husband and son had theirs done.

When i showed the lady, she denied it was even them and the guy came over and said "you look like a genuine person, I'll fix it"

I was really cranky to be honest as i showed the receipt they'd asked for and i was told it wasn't them and the fact we'd spent $170 there was even more frustrating.

When i returned, the screen protector had been fixed (looks good) the lady did apologise to me .

Anyway, I'm feeling vindicated, as i found my actual paper receipt today and next time I'm at Westpoint I'll be showing them.

I don't think I'll return there as a customer again though.

I understand some people try and do the wrong thing, but to be given a hard time after showing the bank statement at their request, i was really unimpressed as i had proof and still...
