All I can say is utterly sublime! This little slice of Parisienne heaven is tucked away in the Lime Grove shopping mall. It’s fairly newly opened and was recommend to us by our local friend. It did not disappoint! Everything from the decor, atmosphere, warm welcome, cocktails and food was truly outstanding! My wife and I visited early Sunday evening and were greeted by the charming hostess and co-creator Chef JJ. They made us feel at home immediately and it was heartwarming to see JJ greeting everyone as they entered and similarly mingling with those already seated to check everything was tip top. We had a drink at the bar to begin with, lychee martini for my wife and G&T for me, both executed and tasted perfect. To eat we shared some Chorizo croquettes (heavenly!) then we both had the French onion soup (best I’ve ever tasted-including in France!) and moules frites, again just sublime and I could have bathed in the moules sauce! It’s worth mentioning even the bread and butter was of Michelin standard! This was washed down with a petit Chablis, what else?! My wife was beaten into a food coma by this point but I managed to squeeze in the best apple tarte tatin I’ve ever tasted. I should also mention our delightful waiter whose name sadly escapes me but his service and jovial personality was shining bright, a real star! Again I cannot recommend this beautiful restaurant highly enough, it’s a MUST visit on any Barbados trip, we’ll...
Read moreWe were in town during the Christmas week and the menu of this new restaurant looked great. We had no problem booking a reservation online for a weekday dinner, though I highly recommend to pre-book on any day because it was packed even on a Monday night, and we quickly learned why.
This is proper French food! We had low expectations and were blown away by the quality of the dishes. On par with many restaurants in Paris. It’s not inexpensive but totally worth it for a great meal.
We tried the French onion soup, steak tartare, tuna tartar, duck and steak frites. All were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The duck that night was roasted which I prefer and the dish included two large pieces (could probably just serve one and make the dish cheaper). Steak frites came with a rib eye.
The wine selection was good as well. The cocktails were delicious - try the espresso martini. Even the bread served at the start of the meal was delicious.
The restaurant is also very lively and decorated beautifully with a French bistro vibe. You forget it’s located in a mall!
They are still training staff and working out the kinks there so I would recommend to be patient. You can see they are trying their best.

Read moreI felt like a brief and elegant escape from Barbados—like stepping into a chic European bistro tucked away in the heart of the Caribbean. The ambiance was an absolute hit, effortlessly blending sophistication with a cozy, romantic vibe. From the moment we walked in, the service was A1 plus—attentive, warm, and polished without being overbearing.
The décor is stunning—every detail thoughtfully curated to enhance the experience, from the lighting to the artwork. It really set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
As for the food: we started with oysters and French onion soup. The oysters were fresh and briny with just the right touch of garnish, and the soup was rich, deeply flavorful, and comforting—my wife loved it. For the main course, I had the lamb shank and she went with the sea bass. Both dishes were beautifully plated, seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right. You could taste the freshness in every bite.
