Brussels Vintage Market — Local services in Brussels

Even though at first glance it is a cool place with seemingly lots to offer, the prices these stands ask for regular second hand stuff are absurd. They clearly cater to a specific crowd who are willing to spend €25 on a regular, bad quality half chafed t shirt from fruit of the loom with a quirky animal on it.

A big tip: Brussels has so many good second hand stores with very good deals, some very curated, slightly more expensive but worth it and some so absurdly cheap but with good treasure to find. Compared to these stores, I was very very disappointed with this vintage market, which seemed to just be full of resellers. There was one stand with two lovely guys with cool stuff and decent prices, so at least I got something out of it in the end.

Note that the opening of this market is on first Sunday of the month not the first weekend of the month. whoever controls the hours on google maps needs to fix this because a lot of people (such as myself) went there are Sunday October 8th 2017 expecting the market to be open because it was according to google maps and this is the responsibility of the adminstrator of the google maps account of the market. Vintage market in a very nice building and special atmosphere.

Selling mostly clothes, shoes and accessories. Upstairs second hand designers are showing their jewelry. Downstairs in the middle you can have a drink in the Chesterfield sofa and listen to good old music.
