Good food variety without relaxation for Fast Biz Travelers - Among European lounges, traditionally underwhelming, this is one of the better ones for fast travelers. It offers a great variety of food, particularly a rich breakfast selection, especially early in the morning. Lunch, dinner, and snacks are less abundant but still highly appreciated compared to most European lounges. There’s also a decent selection of fruits and vegetables, making it suitable for those following specific diets or the Mediterranean diet.
The design isn’t fancy, but the tables and chairs are comfortable, although the space itself isn’t very large. In the late afternoon early evening, finding a spot can be challenging.
What’s missing is a true relaxation area if you plan to stay longer than 30–45 minutes. This is a genuine business lounge for quick stops. If you’re looking to unwind or work extensively, this isn’t the best option. That said, the Wi-Fi works exceptionally well.
The bathrooms (at least for men) are typical of most European lounges - clean but far from comfortable. There’s no shower, no constant cleaning service, and no towels, but they are still better than many other European lounges. Be cautious, though: in certain areas of the lounge, the smell of food can cling to you. While it’s a good sign if you’re hungry, it’s far less appealing when you’re about to continue your journey.
The floor staff is plentiful but definitely not courteous - a recurring trend in Europe. After all, this isn’t Asia or...
Read moreThey are saying the lounge is up for refurbishment, but currently (end 2018) the place is quite run down, eg the sofas in the back are disgustingly dirty. It's almost impossible to find space at any time, very few places to charge, uncomfortable seats, the food and drink options have always been very poor (with the exception that they offer a limited selection of Inbev beers, of which the only thing you might want to drink is Leffe, and even that they screw up, most of the time they only have 25cl glasses for 33cl bottles). Eg the wine and whisky are undrinkable, no warm food, a salad bar of very low quality, croissants are not good, no water bottles to take with you.. . Almost no newspapers or magazines, it's also quite far away to reach. The staff is friendly and polite. Brussels Airport's lowest point wrt quality. It's sad that in a country that generally eats and drinks very well the airport lounge offering is so poor. Even if they refurbish it, unless they improve the food and drink it will never be better than 3 stars. Do NOT pay to enter, you are much better off spending your money on some of the restaurants in the airport. If you enter for free,...

I visit this lounge a couple of times per month. The Diamond lounge in Terminal B is well-organized, quickly cleaned and sufficiently stocked. They also vary often with the daily warm meals, which gives it a good price/quality balance.
Terminal A - Disappointing
I go to this lounge a couple of times per month, the staff at check-in is very friendly, but some points for improvement are however: ** The variety of food in the morning - in early hours (0509-0630) there is very limited offer available for breakfast - no salads for example or sufficiently stocked soft drinks; ** There are a lot of flies on the fruit offered, which is not very hygienic; ** Some of the products offered disappear, I am very fond of the cheese with the selderijzout, yet staff told me they don't have it anymore. ** The toilets are often dirty, with trash on the ground.
I hope this improves and they get inspiration from the...
