We cannot say enough good things about this place! Our son has attended the Curio Preschool Program as well as Camp. The physical environment is beautiful and bright. It is wide open and the materials are diverse and just waiting for creative little hands to explore them. This is truly a child centered learning environment. Kids are encouraged to be themselves and to learn and explore in their own meaningful way. Our first experience was with the owner Stephanie... my goodness, this woman is one of a kind! She puts so much heart and soul into all things Curio and you can just tell that this place is her dream. Stephanie is one of those people that always has a genuine smile on her face. She always seems to see the positive and truly just LOVES to watch the kids that enter her doors thrive. Maddie and Adam have run our son's programs and they are the perfect fit for Curio. Sweet, energetic, high energy, creative and compassionate people that just look like they love what they're doing. Our son has also had the opportunity to meets lots of other camp staff and volunteers who have all been absolutely wonderful. When we drop our child off, we know he is in the best hands. We also love all of the photos that are taken and shared while our son is away from home. It give us a little glimpse of all of the fun he is having! Where do I begin? I was first recommended to Curio by a mother that I met through my daughters swim class. I guess the events played out as it was meant to be. We were new in the Barrie area and was looking for something alternative to daycare preschool and this is the best place we can ever imagining sending our daughter to. Our daughter also attended the summer camps throughout the summer season. Curio is not militant in approach, it’s paybased learning. The energy is easy and casual which we love. Stephanie is wonderful, she loves children and doing what she does we could tell the moment we met her!! She is super flexible and open to your comments, suggestions & recommendations. Our daughter also loves, loves, loves the teachers there, (Maddie & Adam). They are fantastic and all the children are obsessed with them. Curio has been a live saver for our family, and busy kiddos! My daughter participated in their drop in program in the Spring, and to say it was a lifesaver for us would be an understatement. During a time of uncertainty, Curio gave her a place to connect, learn, have fun and just be a kid. She was always excited to share all the fun, and enriching experiences she had with me, and felt so comfortable being there.

We also attended the toddler coop with my son, who as a busy 3 year old, desperately needed aspace for safe social interaction.
