Park Place — Local services in Barrie

Great shopping center. Tens of stores to shop. Electronics, fashion, home and fast food and alacarte and many, many more. Lots of parking space. Some routes can be somewhat confusing to drivers not use to roundabout. Parking somehow does look like a labyrinth in some sections. Very beautiful design of center, where food court is located with outdoor fireplace, yes working fireplace. Tesla charging station located not far from gym. Main area with large parking is a pass through but few parking places is closed in (dead end) so there is only one way in and out. In general well designed plaza with lots of room to park and easy access to any services or shops. Two thumbs up for lovely done center where you can park your car and grab something to eat or perhaps relax on a bench. Lately I've seen outdoor seating areas with tables and umbrellas in front of restaurants, which creates very pleasant atmosphere, unfortunately it's in summer season only. Great shopping plaza, but dreadful to drive to because of Mapleview Drive. Many drivers do not understand the roundabouts in the Park Place plaza and drive the wrong way.

DSW Shoes has great deals. Old Navy also has great deals on clothes. There are many places to shop here in Park Place that are wallet-friendly. There is a Dollarama dollar store in the plaza, I reccomend shopping there first for things on your shopping list before visiting the other stores.

There are some great food places to eat at in the Park Place plaza, like Mr Greek, Pita Pit, Nandos, McDonalds and a few other places.

Park Place plaza has the Rec Room entertainment / arcade as well. There is a Best Buy for electronics too. There is a Cabela's for the folks who like anything with the outdoors, or some great fudge.

Great plaza to go to for a day trip from out of town with the kids, or a birthday for the kids.

It's a nice store. The day we went I called early and confirmed the item I wanted was in stock. Driving from Peterborough to Barrie Ontario on a good day is just over 2 hours and making sure of its price and in stock, we left. Parking was no problem; a large lot. Going back to the fishing dept and looking on the wall for the item I wanted and not seeing it, I asked . I was told no that was not available. I told him I called over first. He said wait here, He left to find the person I had spoken with on the phone. He returned 5 min later and said he was training 2 new staff members and they made a mistake. He said I have a similar item but it's not fully auto; and more money. I looked at it disappointed but needed something. Asked if he could offer me a slight discount to make up for " their mistake " He said no, it was the last one. Bottom line I bought it, but it will be a long time before I return to...
