Sage Hill Crossing Halal Meat & Grocery — Local services in Calgary

This meat shop constantly smells of rotten meat when I walk by. They have also left raw meat out in the sun in the summer from 9am (or earlier as I saw it at 9am) until about 12:30pm in 29 degree weather. Photo of the meat is shown. The owner is rude, gets mad at woman and the man who cuts the meat smokes outside in his plastic gloves and apron which both have had blood on them before. This shop needs to be visited by AHS as there are a bunch of health hazards associated with this location. If I could, I would leave zero stars for this place. I never seen something like this in my whole life! Not just the worse meat but also worse service!! I bought lamb shank from this store yesterday I cooked for 2 hours it turned black and it was as hard as a rock , I took it back to the store and I was shocked from his reaction he said he can’t do anything for me I asked him to gave me another fresh meat because the one I bought was frozen he refused and he also refused to give me refund! Those people don’t have a fear of god and I doubt their meat is not halal they are cheaters and I will never go back to this store neither I will recommend...

DISAPPOINTED. BLOOD INSIDE CHICKEN EVEN AFTER COOKING IT FOR 1.5HRS.

Returned to this store after one year with a lot of expectation. The owner is really nice and professional although had a terrible experience with the meat this time. Got 3 chicken, cooked them all with different style and marination. All 3 meals turned out with chicken PINK and RED from the inside even after cooking it for about an hour and a half. Not the first time cooking/having chicken so pretty sure it shouldn't have turned out to be like that after cooking 3 different meals ranging from 1.5-2HRS...
