Wwwwwwow! Since we are from a ssssssmall town thereâs nooooo T&T there and we are sooooo grateful to have one nearby in our trip when we visited our friends in Calgary. My friend and family had dinner with us and said some of the things we had during the dinner were from T&T!! Since we had the dinner early or the shop also closed in a later time - we can have our last shopping before we finished our trip!!! We bought shrimp dumplings, some frozen buns that we can bring them home and steam them hot, Siu loong bao - ooooh very delicious indeed ;) even better than some restaurants (where they made the skin too thick!!) Canât imagine the packaged food in the shop can have a great quality and we also join their app to save some points. Though next time we visit gotta be some time later since thereâs none nearby where we live (maybe they can consider to have more locations :) The shop is sooo big that we couldnât have enough time to shop everything before the closing time. It was a weekend evening so maybe thatâs why many discounted items were gone đą I reckon the sales is pretty good daily and on the weekends ;) There were fruits, seafood, dairy products, frozen items, cakes, and chinese new year items (we visited there during the period of chinese new year) ⌠if I live nearby I imagine we can have our grocery there regularly đ¤đ¤đ¤ Also, the restrooms are available in case you have a long time shopping and have the need of going to the washrooms :) when you are there. Thanks for a great experience and we look forward to...

I have learnt my lesson and will never touch your self check-out machine no matter how long I need to wait in line for a cashier. It is not worth the frustration to experience something like this ever again. :) We have been shopping at the T&T Calgary branch every week for nine years. Whenever a staff helps us check out with the self-checkout machine, he/she would put our shopping bags in the bagging area, and then put the scanned items into the shopping bags. After we pay, we can pick up the bags. We are very satisfied with the service of T&T.
I went to the Sage Hill Store with my family at around ten oâclock this morning. While queuing up to check out, a middle-aged staff said that she would help us check out with the self checkout machine. Instead of asking for our shopping bags, she scanned the items and piled them up in the bagging area. I put my shopping bag in the shopping bag area, and started putting the scanned items into the shopping bag. The staff stopped me, kept telling me I cannot bag my items until we pay. I told her, we have money, and we will pay. She said, if you pack the bag, the checkout machine would be stuck. At this moment, the checkout machine was stuck. She used the employee card, scanned it several times, and it was OK again.
Why is this store...
Read morePark far away- I've seen multiple accidents in this small parking lot, plenty of poor parkers (typical for Calgary), and smashed trees in parking lot due to poor drivers. Driver leaving parking lot going the wrong way on the median separated road almost caused another accident with myself and another car. Now inside the store- if you'd like to visit a store where all our established norms, politeness, and courtesy are thrown out the window, this is the place for you! Having a older Asian woman who was obviously mocking my being there buying asian groceries (cashier blushed and looked annoyed by this womans words thankfully) a fine example. Looking in the coolers from 2 feet away and having someone just go in front of you without a word, rude. Saw another young lady reach across some produce and sneezed directly on to fresh produce below, no covering of the mouth. Getting cutoff by staff who don't understand customer courtesy, twice, also rude. This all in one visit. Will not return- will take my money elsewhere, and besides, my auto insurance company will thank me....
