2nd update: I gave this place another try tonight and ordered the same as last time. They made sure to fulfill my "extra sauce" request this time around. I will say that perhaps my preference is to have more sauce than the average person. I didn't feel there was "a lot" of sauce, but it took me having to request extra sauce to get what I feel is a "regular amount." Lol So if you're like me and appreciate tasting the sauce, you might wanna order extra. But perhaps no one else cares since they have such good ratings. Lol All in all, good experience tonight. I will give them back a star for the good tasting pizza, customer service, and their committment to ensure customer satisfaction. Thank you, Royal Pizza!

Update: I was contacted by Royal Pizza to discuss what might have gone wrong and I will update my review after I try another pizza. I will say, however, that I am impressed with the immediate effort management put in to attempting to make things right with their customers. Will update this review and possibly the rating once I have RP again.

Tried Royal Pizza for the first time today. Had the Gourmet Vegetarian. Flavours were good. Crust the perfect amount of crisp that I enjoy. I'm a little disappointed with the sauce. I don't know if they normally skimp on sauce, or if this was a mistake, but I specifically asked for extra sauce in my order and it almost seems like they were even light on the sauce compared to what I thought would be regular. I really wanted to like this pizza place, but not sure if I will go back. Not sure how to add a pic to this review to show you how very little sauce I received. Anyway, pizza was ok. Hope it was...

I should have known when I entered and only see one other table with a group of 3 elderly sitting there that this should have been my first RED FLAG!

I went in for lunch asking for a to go, Abdullah took my order and asked me to sit and wait. I had ordered a Royal donair and Coke Zero from the mini fridge at the front near the register $1.95 to go and he brought me a glass of flat Coke Zero.

When I confronted the issue he showed me a 2 liter bottle of Coke Zero not fountain pop, second RED FLAG! So the he then poured me a glass from the can.

Then I over heard him and the only other patrons here talking very loudly about his debit/credit machine and how there were no numbers on the screen for them to pay but the tap feature was enabled and they wanted to see what they were tapping for before they would pay, third RED FLAG!

Then he finally brought me my food on a plate and not in a to go container, thankfully I still had a little time to scarf it down. The pita was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, a generous amount of deer meat inside with what I believed to be mozzarella cheese and onion and tomato. Unfortunately, the half of bottle of sweet sauce turned it to soup and made it unhandable.

I then asked for the bill and realized that I was charged for a Greek salad which I never had one and also charged for a fountain pop at $3.95 which I did not order I ordered the Coke zero in a can that was displayed at the front of the counter for $1.95.

You will never catch me in this establishment or ordering from it ever again ....

Have been a loyal customer to this place but tonight’s experience was awful. Called in to order the small $15.95 donair and ordering took the better part of 15 minutes due to some confusion on the staff persons part. I had asked for extra sauce and extra onions and it came out to $27.00 for one small donair. Still wondering how some extra onions add an additional small bit of sauce equates to $12.00 extra? I respectfully declined and thanked the person for their time but cancelled the order. Thought I would give it a try again and not sure if it was the same person and I explained that I wanted to order one small donair with extra onion and sauce. When they repeated my order it was one medium donair and one medium donair with extra sauce and onions. I explained that I am just ordering one small donair with extra onions and extra sauce. They advised that they needed to put me on hold to which I declined the order again as it shouldn’t be that complicated. I called another place and they took my order and it ended up being $15.00 and would be ready in 10 minutes to which upon pick up I added a 20% tip. Super disappointed as I love the food here and went quite a few times during COVID but tonight was the last straw. Sadly I always love to support local but cannot support this. I don’t write very many reviews but couldn’t let go of this one. I understand that food prices have escalated but$12.00 for 1/10 of an onion and a tablespoon of sauce...
