Amazing! I love to walk there again. At first we did not notice that there was a passage under the bridge because we were on the topview looking for the way going to the muttart conservatory 😅 until we went to the Chinese Garden. The pieces of art attached on the top were eye catching. The design of the bridge and where it was situated, were just perfect. People were biking around, walking and sitting on the bench. It's relaxing to sit on the bench overlooking the river and the city. I wonder how it looks like at night.

There was LRT track above and trail for pedestrians and bikes below. I was surprised to see some colorful mosaic patterns on the top of the bridge. The view of the river was beautiful, and although the water was not particularly clear, it was clean. There was also a beach nearby. People were canoeing that day, and some even brought their dogs along. We also saw some Canada geese swimming, or maybe they were ducks? I was not sure because they were so far away, but they were still very adorable.

I have heard this bridge has taken an ice age to construct… 5 years is the word around town… Haha, happy to have it and to walk on it.

The city needs more bridges, walking/biking bridges, pedestrian only bridges, sky bridges.

The city recently torn down the walking bridge in Grovenor/Crestwood. I say we need more in the River Valley, connecting different parts of the city by walking and biking.

Calgary has several downtown bridges to boot. It would be nice if we can match...
