Seems like a good place at first because of the cheap prices but everything else and the experience after definitely makes me say buyer beware & go somewhere else. The sales person we had āMayā made the sale sound very very nice up until she had our money. After we already paid thatās when she said let me just go over and make sure you got the right one. When we back over to the 6 peice set we had ordered thatās when she asked us if we had a box spring and told us we would need one with this set. Luckily we had one. She then told us after we paid that weād be getting one without drawers on the bottom when the one on display had drawers. Previously, before we paid we were worried about the items we were interested in not fitting in our unit or our door. We asked her the return policy and she assured us we could return all of it. The biggest joke of it all is the couch we ended up buying didnāt fit, And I SPECIFICALLY that day asked her what would happen if we got home and it didnāt fit? She said we would return it but just to buy that day because it would be better! If this is the way this place is trained itās very sketchy and deceitful. She convinced us to buy furniture we were on the border about because we thought weād have no problem returning it! NEXT DAY, we can back because the couch didnāt fit. Now sheās trying to make us pay full price for a couch that they have back on their floor for resale that never even made it into our house a step. Apparently after it gets delivered you canāt return it. I wish Maybelline would have told us that before all this went down, when I was straight up asking her! But instead they got all condescending to me and told me I should have read the very light printing on the back of my receipt to know itās final sale, when Iām in the store asking you for he return policy and I even ask her what would happen if they delivered and it didnāt fit! She literally just dodged the question and convinced me to buy that day instead. The next day when we went back the employees were unaware that their Black Friday event was still going on, even though it said when their Black Friday was till online. After our repurchase the two employees there told us $40 for the delivery, that was the price they had told us like 5 times. We just wanted to make sure. Just to have the delivery guy show up to have to beg for more money because the employees at surplus didnāt say the right amount, but quite a lot!!!! About the displays, all the 6 peice bed room sets are set up with an extra dresser that you think you get until you look very very closely and realize you arent, they just put it there to seem better. Itās odd too cause the extra dresser was in the picture of the set(online) and on the display in store, same color super close and everything but then not in the write up. Definitely poor advertising. Last but not least; others complained about the quality on here, the dresser can with big scratches on the legs. For the dresser mirror the instructions were stapled onto the back of the mirror. To take it off you have to rip it. It was extremely difficult to read. Wanted to return to buy more furniture but after this awful experience I wouldnt recommend it to anyone! You are better off spending abit more money...

We bought a high dollar sectional from them. Within a few weeks the leather on the back of the sectional not where we sit but on the back the part that some people may put up against a wall started sagging and all rippled looking.(GREAT JUST BLOODY GREAT LOL NOT). Cushions are not uniform from one to the next some bulge out more than others. Zipper has split on the corner cushion. After months of waiting for an answer to our problems. Now a board in the back rest portion of the section has broken off and is now pushing out on the leather "again on the back of the couch". Its just such a lovely eye sore and friendly reminder every time we walk by our wonderful POS sectional! It reminds us every day several times how we should never DEAL with SURPLUS FURNITURE again. We've sent them pictures as directed by store manager......been told again and again that its under review with no effort on their behalf to keep us posted as to what was going on to fix our problems. Finally after almost 6 months and several phone calls to them as well as many promised call backs (hahaha lol that's a huge joke as well) from the manager who is always just to busy when I call.They only after we called again say the will have it repaired if possible lol.Also bought a matching Ottoman hahaha IT DON'T EVEN MATCH. I bought the Soho onyx black leather sectional just like the one in the pictures up on their web site. Ya no LOL YOUR WELCOME TO COME TO MY HOUSE AND SEE FOR YOUR SELF THAT NOT ONLY DO THEY FALSE ADVERTISE. BUT THEY SELL PEOPLE GARBAGE........... Sooooooooo now I've been promised, that I need to wait around on my day off for someone named Mike to call me to come do an onsite inspection of the sectional I was told if he can't fix it they will swap it out for the same POS with the same issues made from the same company LOL......I bet that one won't have the correct matching OTTOMAN just like the one in the pictures on the web site that they use to lure people in with, so they can take your hard earned dollars. Then after money is in the hands of these leaches say good bye to that cash for ever because now you own a real Gem that is if your Oscar the grouch and live in a garbage can and simply don't mind having garbage to sit on. And again we can't even put our feet up onto our nice brand new piece of garbage matching Ottoman because we have to hide it under and Ottoman tray as big as it hoping that not many people will notice (THAT THEY DO NOT MATCH) Upon my review of the previous reviews. Im actually really excited to see If I get the same lame automated message as the other people who have been RIPPED OFF & SOLD GARBAGE TO AS WELL...... Slightly over a month ago we went into the store and purchased recliner couch and love seat, 2 lamps, coffee table and side tables, a large clock, dining table with six chairs, a mirror, and a leather childās chair with ottoman. The sales lady was helpful at time of purchase and very pleasant. We spent a bit, and she threw in the warranty for us - as did the brick with a large item purchase, so not an uncommon practice. There was to be a wait for some of the items, which we were ok with. The couch, love seat, dining table and four chairs were delivered within a few days which was great although two of the dining chairs were missing. We contacted the store and were told that the chairs would be put aside for us for when we pick up the rest of our order. The original sales person also called and ensured that the two chairs had been put aside. This was ok with us. We have been back and forth to BC as this was a big move for us, and didnāt inspect or use the furniture in the first few weeks of living in our new home. Immediately upon opening we noticed a large scratch on the surface of the dining table and small scratches on a few of the chairs. Later we noticed a hole in the armrest of the love seat. We were called a few days ago and told that the rest of our order was ready for pick up. I asked if the dining chairs were there and ready to go as well and was told there were no chairs but we could take the floor models or wait upwards of six weeks for new ones. I told the guy about the hole in the love seat and was chastised for not calling within the first 72 hours, and pretty much to use my warranty - basically didnāt care. I didnāt bother discussing the big scratch on the table as it was clear he didnāt care. We didnāt call right away about any of it because we were going to ask about it when the rest of our stuff arrived, and truly hadnāt noticed within the first 72hrs. My husband went to the store today to pick the rest of our order up - he was told the dining chairs were not put aside for us, and they had been discontinued and it would be a long wait if any come at all so taking the floor models would be a better option, he was told there were no coffee table or end tables in the back and they had also been discontinued so basically had no choice but to take the floor models. The childās leather chair and ottoman were good. Sadly what was meant to be a good experience has left an extremely sour taste in my mouth. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you are looking for good customer service or quality ānewā furniture!! There is a lot more that could be said regarding this transaction, but this review is lengthy enough and Iām sure will be helpful to some of you!
