Update: 14/03/2020
I ordered from Boss Pizza again last night and I have to say that the change in quality is quite surprising. The gluten-free crust being used now is very thin and the toppings both in quantity and quality has gone down considerably. The first time I ordered the pizza was almost two inches thick with toppings and crust. This time, it was a very thin crust pizza with minimal toppings. I had ordered extra cheese on both the Super Special and Hawaiian and I would hate to see what it looked like without the extra cheese. Both pizzas were clearly overcooked with the cheese almost burnt on both of them and what I would consider as a normal amount of cheese on them (not additional for the $5 extra/pizza I paid). I have tried to order from them several times since my original post and my order was not accepted. I am not sure what has happened but I am quite disappointed with the changes.
Original Post:
Ordered a gluten free pizza super special. Not only was it a reasonable price but the veggies were fresh and cut thickly. Thin crust which I like, not dry or overly cooked or that terrible chalk/grainy taste that gluten free often has. When I ordered he also checked to see what he had in stock right away to make sure my order was right. Delivery was super quick and I will be ordering...
Read moreThey’re running Brooklyn Calzones out of this shop. So we order. Pics look good. I know they’re just stock photos but we’re excited for calzones cause it’s not something that’s easy to find in Edmonton. Pepperoni, onion and spinach. Got the 2 for 1. They’re normally almost $20 each, so i paid $20 for two of them. They were the tiniest little things, that was barely $10 worth of food, nevermind $20. If I paid regular price for those it would have been returned immediately. Eating, it’s not great. It’s edible but that’s it. But I realize, zero pepperoni. Tons of onions, crunchy with onions, no meat taste. Open the two thirds up I havent eaten, not even a suggestion of pepperoni. Not a hint. Not one slice. Ask my kid, zero on hers either. Call them, say hey there’s no pepperoni on my calzone. Or my kid’s. Store says yes there is. We put pepperoni. I said I’m staring at it right now, ripped open. There isn’t a slice. She basically called me a liar so I just hung up. Can’t speak to their pizza but stay away from these tiny a$$ mediocre vegetarian pizza pops...
Read moreExcellent Pizza !!! Great quality and service. In from out of town, got back to the hotel later than expected so started the search for a pizza spot close by. I was looking for one of the traditional franchises but came across Boss and thought we’d give it a try because it was close and the reviews looked good. Well I was very impressed, the lady that took my order said it would take about 40min and she was almost exact, it was obvious the gentleman that delivered the pizza must have some invested interest in the business because he really seemed to care how the food was handled, made me glad I ordered direct. Opened the boxes and was kinda wowed by the look of these pizzas, sounds strange but just couldn’t believe how good they looked ... who ever put these pizzas together really cares about what there doin. Tasted great, very fair price !!! My only disappointment is that we kept the toppings very basic for the kids, so not being from Edmonton we won’t be able to make Boss our go-too place and mix up the...
