Nerdcore — Local services in Hamilton

I visited Nerdcore for the first time, and can I say - what a wonderful experience! They have quite a broad and varied selection for a store of their size, and I enjoyed browsing through the different categories immensely! In addition to the clothing, action figures, statues, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, single issues and other types of products and memorabilia they stock, they have a subscription program and they will try to get any book you want provided its still in print or coming out soon (speak to an employee for details and fine print as I may have recalled the specifics incorrectly).

When I visited I was lucky enough to meet the owners who were very friendly, knowledgeable and more than happy to help with my odd barrage of very specific requests. The visit turned out to be the highlight of my day as they happened to have a specific OOP item I'd been coveting since 2016, at an incredibly reasonable price! The funny part was I'd almost placed a bid on eBay for the item earlier that day, but decided to check Nerdcore instead - and what a beneficial decision that turned out to be! I have bought many custom items from Nerdcore over the years which have always been of great value and quality. Recently Angie and Keith hosted my daughter's 8th birthday party and it was a blast. I highly recommend this uniquee opportunity to learn how to screenprint a custom shirt. My daughter was part of the planning process, choosing the image, the text, colour and layout of the shirt. At the party, every kid was thoroughly engaged with the process and best of all got to bring home a unique product that most of them wore right out of the store. The icing on the cake was how fun, patient and kind Angie and Keith were during the party. As always, I am beyond thrilled to support this small business and I highly recommend them...

This small business is absolutely fantastic. It's family owned and operated. They offer activities for the kids all the time (well, at least when you're not in the middle of a global pandemic), and have a fantastic selection of graphic novels (comic books, if you will), toys, and clothing to appeal to the nerdiest of nerds. It's not just for nerds though! They have a great selection of products for all ages and interests. I would suggest that, at a minimum, you stop by and check them out at your earliest opportunity.
