Wasted my time and gas, TWICE! I called to inquire about a used "laundry set" and he quoted me $400. I asked; "What brands are those, and he responded Maytag or Whirlpool. I asked his hours and he was closing soon, so I left it until the next day. I drove there from lower Stoney Creek at about 2:00p.m., and the doors were locked on nobody was there? I returned home and phoned, only to hear that we have to make an appointment? Well that wasn't true either, because my daughter and her kids walked in there with no appointment. So I called today, and he says "I better hurry up, because appliances are going fast." Sure buddy, not from what I seen when I arrived there. Appliances are all dirty and squashed so tightly, you don't even have laneways to walk around and even look? LOL! Bait and switch played out here within minutes upon my arrival. He told me, he suddenly didn't have any sets, but would do me a favour to "help me out" by selling me two separate appliances for $400.00?! So I proceed to look around as best as I possibly could move to see if there's anything worth $200. per appliance. I found one that was large capacity that was about 10 - 15 years old, -he says that one is $400.00. Lmao! Seriously?! Then, he directed me to a small capacity, filthy, disgusting washer, and actually says he had to repair that one first, but that's the one he chose for me to purchase?! What the ? I have no way or option of even looking around, and he's trying to dictate that I take this ratty machine, and it could be mine for only $200.?! Um, bye, bye, -you just lost a customer. No way on earth would I pay $200.00 for that piece of garbage that looked like he just picked up off the street. It was very aged as well. If it was on kijiji or Marketplace, I'd offer maybe $40.00 for it, and quite hesitantly too. What a shoddy way of doing business. I truly had intentions of leaving there a happy customer, but he can keep his junk. There's just no quality, etiquette or integrity there. Pricing is horrible for the quality. I don't recommend this Used appliance store. Go see...

Originally went in for a replacement washing machine and asked for a unit that was great for heavy loads..

I was sold a whirlpool front loader and have had nothing but issues with it since it was installed.

We called for warranty and was told the washing machine I purchased is one of the less efficient machines and isnt great for large loads, contrary to what I was told upon purchase.

Fast forward to the warranty claim.. I was told that I would get a new washing machine or my money back as per this.. 3 month warranty.

Going on 2 weeks now, I have been getting the run-around.. they set up a date & time, then didnt show. MULTIPLE TIMES. So booked time off work, took the house appart, and sat around waiting, Multiple times. Just to call them and be told we were forgotten about, or "the guy isnt calling back"

They have no problem selling you a machine with a warranty.. but goood fricken luck getting it picked up if something goes wrong..

Might I add.. this machine is ridiculously heavy, and very difficult to move alone in 1 piece.

I am really disappointed in the service and feeling like I've been ripped off, as I spent almost $400, took time away from work, more wasted time waiting around, and still have a useless...

Dishonest merchant, unfortunately. I had two transactions with Amos. I bought a stove first and it broke during installation. Well, accidents happen, he took it away and brought a different one a few days later. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. I didn't think a disaster would happen twice, so I talked to him about getting a dryer as well. My biggest concern was getting the old dryer removed as it is in a difficult basement. I made it clear I only wanted a new one if the old one could be taken out. He said he could disassemble the old one if necessary to remove it, so I agreed to make the purchase. Delivery day he tells me his helper cancelled and so he can't take the old one away. He said he will call me. I called and texted him for over two weeks and he ignored my calls and never made a plan to remove the old dryer. It's still here and I'm going to have to pay someone to remove it even though he agreed to do it which was the only reason I bought from him! Awful situation, do not trust this guy, it'll...
