Extremely Disappointed with Papa John's PHILLY CHEESESTEAK PAPADIA
I recently ordered the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK PAPADIA from Papa John's, and I must say I was extremely disappointed with my experience.
Firstly, the filling of the PAPADIA was supposed to consist of a delicious combination of cheese, steak, and onions. However, to my dismay, almost 90% of the filling was onions 8%? green peppers 2% meat It completely overshadowed the other ingredients and made the whole dish taste overwhelmingly oniony. This was not what I was expecting or hoping for when I ordered the PAPADIA.
To make matters worse, shortly after consuming the PAPADIA, I fell ill and experienced severe food poisoning. I ended up spending 5 agonizing days in the bathroom, suffering from the consequences of consuming the food from Papa John's. This is a truly unpleasant and distressing experience, to say the least.
Food quality and safety should be of utmost importance to any restaurant, and it is evident that Papa John's failed to meet these standards. The excessive amount of onions in the PAPADIA and the subsequent food poisoning I experienced are clear indications of negligence in their food preparation and handling.
I am deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience at Papa John's. Not only did I receive a subpar and unappetizing PAPADIA, but I also had to endure the physical discomfort and health issues caused by their food. This incident has left me reluctant to trust Papa John's with my future food orders.
I strongly urge Papa John's to reassess their food preparation processes and ensure that they prioritize the quality and safety of their dishes. Additionally, I hope they take my feedback seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent such instances from happening again in the future.
As a customer, I believe it is important to voice our concerns and hold restaurants accountable for their shortcomings. I sincerely hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering ordering the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK PAPADIA from Papa John's. Iām updating this review because

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE Came to pick up the Shaqaronie I was offered as a fix to the last problem and was told no!! I explained again and was made the guy tried to make me feel stupid and wrong!! Then told me they canāt and wonāt do that!! Then I was told they donāt make them any more but will give us a large!
Decided to wait for my pizza and didnāt see a single person wash their hands!!! And the store is filthy!! I highly do not recommend.
at least it should be warm for the boys this time. Although while I was here I also noticed they leave the pizza out for quite a long time after itās cooked and before itās boxes. Could explain the cold pizza last time.
Sadly We paid for the shaqaronie and never got it! š at least it looks better and is hotter then the last one.
but My boys were so excited to order a shaqaronie pizza. It was cold!! Not even a bit warm. It was supposed to be 8 foldable slices and it was 10 normal slices!!
When I called to let them know it was cold they said they would offer me a free drink with next order, I declined I will not be ordering from there again. So disappointed. The best part was the hot peppers š¶ļø
Update. After calling back second time to let them know that the pizza was 10 regular slices not 8 foldable slices they offered a replacement of the correct pizza. I am grateful they wanted to fix the mistake. For the price it was so disappointing. Iām not looking forward to the next pizza and wouldnāt even bother getting it if my kids didnāt want it. Hopefully I can come back and leave a great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey got my order wrong -- yes, I'm kind of T.O.'d about that, but that's not the driving force behind this review.
The pizza here is just so bloody mediocre.
Where is Papa Johns even supposed to sit in the vast pizza landscape of Hamilton? It's a chain whose motto is "Better Ingredients - Better Pizza." So I think it's supposed to sit somewhere above Pizza Pizza and Little Caesars (which I don't personally agree is true - but hey, I think that's what they're trying to go for) and higher-end independent pizzerias.
I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between this pizza and some generic 'el cheapo' pizza like 241, Gino's etc. There is literally nothing about it that makes it noticeably a cut above any other chain. The crust, cheese, sauce and toppings are all just right down the middle, bog-standard-tasting fare.
For pretty much the same price point you can get Diana's Pizza just over on Kenilworth. I would recommend going that route, or trying something higher end/independent if you want another style of pizza.
Papa Johns and its mediocrity can just go...
