Jimmy The Greek — Restaurant in Kitchener

Every time my family and I visit Fairview Park at 2960 Kingsway Dr. in Kitchener, I can't help but swing by Jimmy the Greek, tucked away in Food Court Store No. 56. It all started one day when I was sitting at the food court, debating what to have for lunch. I noticed that "JIMMY THE GREEK" seemed to be overlooked by most people, so I decided to give it a shot. What I discovered was a hidden gem. Their menu features fresh salads, tender lamb, and perfectly seasoned potatoes—and let me tell you, it was No MISTAKE to try them out. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the salad was crisp and fresh, and those potatoes were nothing short of amazing. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a smile, and the place is spotless.

Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by a lovely lady who suggested I try their hot sauce, something I’d never considered before, and also offered an extra sauce for the lamb—something I had always been too shy to ask for. I truly appreciated her thoughtful service. Honestly, that kind of attention to detail is rare, and it made my experience all the more special.

If you’ve never tried their food, do yourself a favor and give it a go. I promise you’ll walk away satisfied and amazed. Next time, I’m planning to try...

Wow!! Every where else was lined up this place was dead like a person in a cemetery. Worked in my favour thank goodness. Day before the so called “big storm” dec 22 2022. Anyways this is a review about food not the incompetent weather person. We stood in line for a total of 3 mins tops. The lady serving was So nice and made the food look perfect. Fast friendly service isn’t that what we all want these days??

Food: TO DIE FOR. I’ve never really went out of the Canadian food zone it was girlfriend that told me I needed to try Greek. I just can’t stop I know mall food gross it’s like I’m back at high school but Jimmy the Greek is far from that typical place. I got the chicken Slovaki meal and it’s so good. The salad is always fresh and I like my chicken well done so don’t harp on them for my burnt taste. Used to get food from jimmy until the manager started to be greedy and rude, I would go on my lunch sometimes during rush hour and he would leave the store and let the girl do all the work and he would walk around in the mall or take a seat in the foodcourt and let them work without help, when he would make my food he was mentally not there and had to snap back into reality and realize my what i want for my order and start again, my friends had a similar experience he doesn’t care about the customers wishes just the money, he also talks his employees down in-front of customers to make them feel bad and work harder and humiliates the girl employees. Would not recommend this place, weird guy cheap boss, falafel used to be my favourite but he would make excuses and lie about making it again and hasn’t yet.
