Bourbon Street Grill — Restaurant in Kitchener

Sunday May 11th came to the mall when it was time to eat decided for Chinese my last order with this restaurant wasn’t good they gave me old broccoli and old noodles but I thought I would give them a second chance on this day and I wish I hadn’t… I opened my food and took a small bite out of the noodles until my son said “mommy look there’s a bug in your food!!” In my bourbon chicken there was a small black fly/flea stuck on the burbourn chicken still crawling in the sauce… I was disgusted and lost my appetite I had barely touched the food at this point I brought it back to the counter showed them- the one cashier was extremely weird/rude first she squinted her eyes and said “where the bug” I showed her I said right here she offered to give me a new plate but I said no I don’t want to eat this food it’s not clean she tried to argue with me and not give me back my money… finally after texting a “manager” I was given my money back she gave me the wrong amount then when I told her she came to the register and gave me the rest of the money while saying “you ate all the food now you want your money back” first she gave me the wrong money back on purpose second I didn’t eat “all the food” I gave them back the entire plate including the bug. This place use to be great 5-6 years ago but since they hired these new students the quality of food has gone down the customer service had gone down extremely and the cleanliness of the food aswell - i will never ever eat here again and I will let others know about my experience(s)- also I have contacted the health department regarding the bug in the...

havent eaten here for a while. not surprised prices have gone up but that's everywhere. ordered a combo 2 , 2 meats with one veg. portion control is so bad. lady served me barely any protein, while customer after me ordered same thing and got double the portion from a different server. if u go hope you don't get my server.

should have read the recent reviews before going here, with the reviews of people getting bugs in their food and food taste terrible, someone getting food poisoning. I just decided to pitch what I got and not chance eating it. it was a waste of $20 but better to be safe than sorry. I purchased the combo #3, $14.99. The service was absolutely terrible to begin with, I had to argue with them to fill the takeout box with some more chicken and they kept trying to charge me $4. I understand if I wanted extra serving size of chicken but I just wanted a top off, at least fill the take out container.The food was absolutely awful. The green beans and onions tasted like it was rotten/spoiled. The bourbon chicken tasted like was recooked based on the fact that it was super dry and it was extremely salty.
