I recently enrolled in the Reiki Level I and II courses offered by Daxa Choudran of The Power of Healing. Daxa reached out to me before I enrolled in the courses. I appreciated this step very much as it gave me an idea of what to expect before committing to enroll. I happy with my decision to learn reiki level I and II under Daxa's instruction. I had been seeking a good fit for a reiki instructor and Daxa was definitely it!

During the workshops, I found Daxa to be warm and welcoming. It was clear to me that Daxa was skilled at connecting with each of us as individuals; while also connecting to us as a group. She explained the material exceptionally well and in a way that could speak to individuals from a variety of backgrounds. She moved through the material in a logical order, making sure to reinforce the most important messages throughout the two-day workshop. Daxa welcomed questions and responded to them promptly, thoroughly and respectfully. I learned so much more than I had anticipated. I felt at ease in her presence.

Daxa is well-educated and experienced in reiki practice and the teaching of this practice. She is also a skilled instructor. There were numerous opportunities to practice giving reiki to ourselves and to others. Daxa was there to guide us through the process and encourage us to gain further independence in practicing all that we learned.

Daxa is such a kind and warm soul. It is a joy to be in her presence. She is incredibly supportive and motivated to maintain positive relationships with her students beyond the workshop. Her commitment and respect for reiki practice really shines through in her teachings. She offered us many great ideas on how to incorporate reiki into our day-to-day lives. Since taking Daxa's workshop, I have integrated reiki into many aspects of my life and I feel better for it. When I use reiki in the ways Daxa instructed us to do, I feel connected to myself and to life in general. I feel calmer when managing potentially difficult situations, and I am more productive. Taking Reiki Level 1, 2, Holy Fire Master, Usui Master, and Karuna courses with Daxa was an incredible and transformative experience.
