PitaLite Shawarma — Restaurant in Mississauga

Tuesday Nov 21, 2023: Ordered eats delivery from here around 6:30 pm. The Uber driver took a while, because it was hard to find parking, and he couldn’t find the location of this restaurant, which is inside a hospital.

Got two chicken on rice. They came with a slice of potato, and some garlic sauce. But the chicken was a very thin layer of chicken on top of the rice (cheaping out). When eating the meal, add a regular ratio, I finished the plate with steel 40% of the rice remaining. There was not enough chicken given. It was such a thin layer of chicken. Also, it tasted old, and not fresh. The garlic sauce and a slice of potato were good, it helped enhance the meal. But this could be delivered better. This is very average chicken on the rocks. SK says she likes this style of chicken on the rocks but other locations are better. I’m probably not gonna order...

Great pita and shawarma joint with great dinner plates that are kind of like what you’ll find at jimmy the greek. The portion sizes are above average and they will try their best to fix your plate or wrap as best as you would like with the ingredients they have. You can also get a fresh salad topped with any kind of meat u want. I always stick to chicken because i like their souvlaki and shawarma on the rocks which comes with rice and the softest potatoes. Honestly they have these buttery sliced potatoes which are amazing; i usually buy these and squeeze hot sauce and sour cream on top and it is so damn good. No lies. Sometimes ive purchased a sandwich from somewhere else but came here to get the potatoes with hot sauce and sour cream as my side. Give em a go, theyre friendly staff...

I've always had a great experience here. Staff have always been pleasant, and became a regular here, while visiting a family friend - best food at Credit Valley Hospital, hands down. Best value for your money as well - most places have poorer portions...
