Dr Sohail Safi — Local services in Mississauga

Simple office, nice and clean with decently modern equipment. I have had a tremendous amount of experience with eye care specialists, and although a lot of other reviewers have mentioned extensive wait times, I unfortunately find that it's normal for eye care specialists. My own experience has been no more than a 20 min wait, which I think is normal. The techs are just ok... since they touch your face and deal with body fluids, I think they should wear gloves for both of our safety. There's no tissues... a roll of toilet paper? A little cheap for a professional office. The doctor was short and concise about my issue and booked follow-up tests, which he explained he required for HIS machine since each machine is different. In other areas of medicine, you can transfer a record, and I must admit, I'm sick of taking the same test over and over again and PAYING for it 3 times in 6 months. I’m so grateful for Dr. Sohail Safi and his amazing team. They saw my sister on an urgent basis when she was having serious eye issues, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Even though it was last-minute, they made room for her without hesitation and treated her with such kindness and urgency.

Dr. Safi is not only incredibly skilled, but also one of the most empathetic doctors I’ve ever met. He took the time to really listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure my sister felt safe and understood. You can tell he truly cares about his patients, and that makes all the difference.

The office itself has a very calm and welcoming feel, and the staff are just as kind and attentive as Dr. Safi. It’s rare to find a clinic that combines professionalism with genuine heart, but this place does exactly that.

I’m writing this review while waiting for Dr. Safi to visit me for the past two hours.

My appointment was initially at 1 PM and when the receptionist called me to confirm, she changed it to 1:15. I arrived at the original time, and had to wait for 15 minutes to be visited by one of the personnel and be administered the dilating drops. From 1:45 till 3:15 and counting, I’m still waiting for doctor.
