Great place and super friendly. I admittedly do not know much about the different cuts of meat, and was helped by their staff who obviously knew their stuff with no judgement. I cannot say enough how great those who helped me were.
They had a superb selection of sausages that I wish I’d taken advantage of, but this day was for the steak. I did a simple salt and pepper crust for the meat we got and it was delicious. No sauce needed for this superb cut.
The shop also had good things going for them in the case of following distancing guidelines. Only 3 people in the shop allowed, with chairs to keep customer distance from the displays, as well as milk crates to cart around and help keep yourself...

The quality of the meat and the craftsmanship is still a notch above the rest, which is great to see. The customer service we received from one of the butchers threw me off however. He was curt, dismissive and rude. Walking away from me saying rudely "If you say so, if you say so" as I was in the middle of a sentence trying to understand their "french butchering standards". Now that I have to make the trip with the car to pick up stuff, I admittedly have been slowing down my purchases here (also need to watch the pocketbook), but I’m still most excited to make my trip when it does happen once a month now, or so. Amazing cheese selection and fresh veggies!
