We waited almost an hour to be seated in hopes of a great experience that ended up being extremely underwhelming. The food was alright, not anything special. We had the fried chicken and waffles, as well as the Benedict, and neither were very impressive. As another reviewer mentioned, the waffle definitely did feel reheated.

The service wasn't great either, our waiter gave us a surcharge of 2.00 for a tiny amount of maple syrup with our chicken and waffles, without ever mentioning that this wasn't included. Who surcharges for less than 2 tablespoons of maple syrup??

What baffled me the most, however, was the lack of precautions being taken to ensure cleanliness in the restaurant during COVID.

Their bathroom was left in a horrendous state. The garbage was overflowing with pieces of tissue and paper towel piling up across the floor. It was difficult to even walk around in there. Puddles of dirty water were forming on the floor and on the edges of the sink... and I mean DIRTY. There were even strands of hair all over the sink and toilet seat. The extreme lack of cleanliness is something I wouldn't normally expect, but during COVID there should be more of an effort to ensure your customers don't get sick from coming here.

I felt like throwing up. If I get sick in the next 14 days, I'll know where it came from...

And of course, I won't...

We sat outside, so I am only covering that experience.

We had the most spectacular lunch today. The food was amazing! The waitress was so patient and helpful when it came to my dietary restrictions, she truly felt invested in me having a lovely experience. She was the perfect.combo of friendly, but unobtrusive. She would just appear and replace.our water bottle, but was happy to chat when we were ordering, I love that.

Portion size is generous, we were starving by the time we figured out transportation to get there (an STM and Maps team up, not this restaurant).

We started with an amazing smoothie with peach, mango and something else. Pure fruity deliciousness.

My daughter got an Oreo milk shake that she loved. It was a very pretty milkshake and she drank every drop. My daughter got the chicken and waffles. It was a full large Belgium waffle with 4 good.sized pieces of very well.seasoned fried boneless breast chicken. She could only finish half and brought the rest home.

I got the vegetarian friendly Quinoa Nacho Bowl (I think it was vegan in it's basic form) with pulled pork. The pulled pork was amazing. A touch spicy with a hint of.Chipotle, but not.too spicy for my sensitive stomach. I couldn't finish. It was so delicious, but I had to stop because I...

When i saw this place on their instagram, i thought everything looked good! All i wanted all week was to go there. Food was AMAZING. More info on the experience and the reason for the 4 stars below.

I finally went, it was great in general! First of all, just walking by the shop, we could smell the food being cooked, i was starving and i had high hopes!

Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a line up to get in which was expected because we got there at around 12:15. It took about 15 mins for us to get seated which isn't that bad in lunch time.

They gave us water in glasses but there was something in it. Obviously, that didn't make a good impression. We talked about it to the server and she immediately apologized and offered to change the glasses and the bottle. So they managed the issue with care.

But the wait time was long.. too long, so much so that we contemplated leaving. It took almost 30 mins just to give our order to the server. Fortunately, the food took about 10 mins to arrive so that's ok.

I got to say, i had the breakfast poutine and that has to be one on my favourite poutine i have ever tasted. I truly recommend that. Even though the experience wasn't perfect, I am definitely coming back to taste the rest because the entire menu...

There can be no better way to start a Sunday morning than having breakfast at Faberge. It is located at 25 Fairmount Avenue W, right in the heart Montreal’s Mile End neighbourhood. When you walk through the door you are greeted with smiles as bright as the morning sun. The brightest smile belonged to Sara, who seated us and served us. We settled in to the sensations of music filling the air and animated features playing on the LCD screen just above our sunlit table. Sara brought us hot coffee, which was delicious. If you require cream and sweetener, just ask. And coffee-heads rejoice, you get refills. If you have a smartphone, you can scan the menu code at your table; or just ask and you will be given a laminated paper menu. We decided to try the Champion Omelet. It came to us fluffy, garlic seasoned without being garlicky and folded over perfected sautéed mushrooms and feta cheese that lost itself in the omelet while finding itself on your taste buds. I’m not sure if another cheese could have done that or maybe the magicians in the kitchen have tricks up their sleeves. And the breakfast potatoes were so crisp and spicy. More secrets? Thank you Faberge for being the perfect place for two Torontonians to enjoy a Sunday breakfast in Montreal.

On a quest for a delightful breakfast experience, we stumbled upon this gem and were so impressed that we couldn’t resist coming back the next day! Day 1: We started with Eggs Benedict, which were perfectly poached with a silky hollandaise sauce that melted in our mouths. The Montreal Breakfast Poutine was a revelation crispy potatoes, cheese curds, and savory gravy made for the ultimate comfort food. To top it off, the mimosa was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Day 2: Equally excited, we returned the next morning to try more of their offerings. The Champion Omelette was fluffy, packed with fresh ingredients, and incredibly satisfying. The Massive Breakfast lived up to its name, offering a hearty plate that kept us full for hours. For drinks, the Espresso Martini was a bold and indulgent pick, while the coffee was a comforting classic. The service deserves special mention our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and added warmth to our experience. The ambience was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start the day. This restaurant has earned a special place in our breakfast rotation. Highly recommend for anyone seeking great food, amazing service, and a delightful atmosphere!
