We had called ahead to check and see if they could accommodate 10 kids and 12 or so adults for lunch. It was a Sunday and the person on the phone said it wouldn’t be a problem as they were slow at the time of our call (11:45am) and that they didn’t anticipate a busy lunch rush. We had 2 hours to have a meal before we had to take the kids back to their tournament which we thought would be plenty of time. The server took our drink order about 10 mins after we came in. It took another 10 mins to get our drinks and even then, some drinks were missed. She finally took our order about 30-40 mins after we had arrived. She determined whose kid belonged to which parent by what jersey # the kid has so the food would be separated properly (good idea if this had worked out for the server). We watched the time and other patrons coming in and noticed that others had received their food before us and were leaving before some of us had even received an appetizer (or even the drinks they had ordered at the start of all of this). Super long story short, we watched about 3-4 tables that came long after us get their food and their bills and be gone before any of the kids got to eat. When one of the adults asked the server what was going on and let her know that the kids had to be back for their games at 2pm, she very abruptly snipped back at her that the food was ready and it was coming. At this point, it is 1:35 - 1:40pm most of the kids had their food, 2 adults had their food. She began bringing out food that didn’t belong to us and what did belong to us was either cold, dry and, in one case, burnt. 2 parents ended up leaving because it’s now almost 2pm and they had to get back to their tournament. At the end of all of this, while she was trying to figure out and separate the bill, the server quipped at the remaining parents that “if you had just pre-ordered, there wouldn’t have been these issues”. Read moreI'm never one to start leaving reviews on here never mind one that's about to leave a bad taste in the managements mouth. But the bad taste I have for this place started a week ago when I ordered a burger off skip the dishes. The burger arrived in such poor presentation and quality I wouldn't even expect that kind of quality and presentation from mcdonald's. The burger was soaked in bbq sauce in the packaging on the initial opening of the burger and on further inspection the burger had one soggy piece of lettuce on it. A couple of soggy onion tanglers and one jalapeno hiding under the cheese in the middle of the burger. The fries that came with this burger were so soggy and old I could not even bear to eat them. Montana's is always my favorite place to eat but for the 18 dollars I spent on this burger I am reconsidering. The reason I am actually making this review is on the way management has dealt with this issue. Which is totally avoid me at all costs. I called in immediately with my concern. The girl on the phone told me there was absolutely nothing they could do about it but she would take my name and number and the manager would phone me back the next day. It is now 5 days later. I phoned in again myself. The manager was busy but the girl on the phone said she would get him to phone me back right away as soon as he was free. This was 4 hours ago now. I feel like I'm being avoided and they couldn't care less about making things right. Read moreThis pains me to give such a terrible review to a place that used to be so good! The food was so bad that I was disappointed I didn't just eat at home. It took so long to even be greeted at the door and seated. The restaurant was dead only one or two other tables had people. Our server took our order and then went to the kitchen where we could hear her talking to the kitchen staff the whole time our appetizer was being made and then brought it out and it was burnt... She disappeared again to the kitchen where again she was gone for an eternity talking to the kitchen staff so we were just left to eat a burnt appetizer or be hungry so we ate what we could of it. Our two tacos took 45 minutes to come out, one plate was burning hot and the other cold and not even the right meat. I used to work in a restaurant and know when a plate is scorching hot it's been left under the heat lamps for way too long. Which was also evident by the soggie lettuce, crispy dry edges of the wrap and shrimp so crispy that it didn't even taste like shrimp anymore. The other taco was fresh and the waitress said it took so long because the kitchen staff said they were out of chicken and had to find some... The order was for beef so that was ridiculous! By the time we had a moment to say anything she was gone again and didn't come back until we were done so the chicken taco was eaten since there was no one to complain to. There was no offer for drink refills or dessert or anything. All in all I am not surprised the restaurant was empty if that is how they serve their guests. I unfortunately would not recommend this...
