A perfect example of why a brick and mortar store wins for me over online!
I go in looking for a game. I leave having an intelligent conversation and learning from the gentleman who was working there.
So Selection is exceptional and prices on par with online.
I get the assurance I can walk in and exchange a damaged item without shipping and waiting.
I get positive interaction with intelligent, polite, and friendly people whom are into gaming. There's no arrogance whatsoever. No opinion, no judgement. Simply a positive experience.
The little ancillary items like headsets, bobbles and such I can SEE and touch on person! Tactile feel of how I would interact with it in real life. No guessing from a picture online. FABULOUS
I'm supporting a flesh and blood person or people whom are local to my area by purchasing.
The take away is the store and staff are great. My girlfriend isn't a gamer and she even enjoys going in with me. Buying funny or cool knick knacks. I get a positive social interaction here. I get great new or used products. I have convenience of localityv and assurance.

Back in my day You had to wait till the release day and line up for games. (Oh the horror of that day in â82 for River Raid. Homer and his Atari thing pffft!) Anyways, when I walked into the store I was greeted with a friendly hello and how can I help you. I like that. Itâs nice. Anyways I was helped by one of the staff to pre-order the game since there are a few âeditionsâ to the game. He explained the datail of every one and that helped me figure out what Bart wants. Unfortunately, I could not find my receipt from pick up in store, only had the email for the order which did not contain the amount of my purchase. They went above and beyond to find a copy of the receipt at the Pen Centre via many phone calls, so that I could return it at the Adams Centre location.
