I was in their store for over 2 hours dealing with this mess. We informed them what we needed out of a plan and they found one that beat our current phone company. They tried to push Bell on us but we have a new corporate plan with Rogers. We proceeded and then were told there is a $90 activation fee and we agreed with no issues, they ran my credit and again no issues all standard. Only then at the very last page the staff member informs us oh we made a mistake and this offer isnt available anymore and changed the monthly bill by almost 1/2. The staff member then informed us he will need to cancel this contract and RERUN my credit to go with Bell because we didn't check for the updates this afternoon.
If you have good credit you know this doesn't look good on your score and can affect it. I was clearly upset and he didn't offer to help at all and tried to tell me rerunning my credit won't affect my score. He said i should just restart with Bell and let him run my credit again cause we know it will pass (ya cause I take care of my credit score and dont just let ppl run my credit for fun). It is ridiculous to ding my credit 2x, after we went thru every step minus the physical signing of the contract.
After I asked for a manager 4 times and him offering me a complaint line to call he finally called his boss. I was not leaving after they already ran my credit to go somewhere else and have it ran again. After speaking with this manager he magically had the ability to call Rogers and get them to add back on the "promo" to go with the contract. Idk if this is a scam they run or if they get a better kickback from Bell but I will not be returned to this shop and will encourage anyone I know in the future to steer clear.
We left with the phone hooked up to Rogers but well see what happened come bill time the contract stats the higher price but the agent he called on the phone stated it will be applied...
Read moreThe team at the Mobile shop is excellent. After getting the run around for months at one of the other cell phone shops in town, We decided to try these guys for our daughters new phone. They were extremely helpful, patient and informative. So we followed that up a few weeks later when we came back for our new phones. These were a little harder to come by but the team at the Mobile shop not only tracked them down but also took accountability when FedEx delayed one of the deliveries. Totally unnecessary as it was not their fault, but shows the high level of desire they have for a satisfied customer.Very professional. They earned our families loyalty...

His knowledge and customer service was outstanding.Additional there was too other associate’s, Isaac was the other associate but I did not get the other guys name sorry. All 3 of those guys were so welcoming and professional. Marcus helped me out above and beyond.
