Pho Kha — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

Mediocre. I am a fan of Thai/ Vietnamese food and this is definitely not that great. Surprised at the reviews.

Edit - In response to the owner’s response below, we were there yesterday. A group of eight people. I ordered the vegetable dish but only had a few veggies. You can discredit my review all you want but most everyone in my team agreed that the food I not good. My friend ordered fried rice which was worse than mine. Sorry, but this is our honest review.

EDIT - Jesus! You guys are intense. Just learn to take someone’s opinion with a bit more dignity. Your response is extremely defensive and petty.

If you knew who I am, why did you say my review is fake in the first place?

Pls note that my overall review will be revised to just one star from two stars at this point because of how unprofessionally you handled this review.

As for leaving a tip, pls note that it is not mandatory to do so and specially not necessary if you are not happy with the food or another aspect of the service. But the actual reason that this happened was because our friend who paid the bill was from Britain who just came to this part of the world 2 days back and paid a bill for the first time so was not aware of the practice of paying tips at that point.

As for why we ate the food is because we were traveling for hours and weee extremely hungry since we missed our lunch.

But sheesh, just focus your energy more on improving the quality of your food as opposed to trying to discredit a customer’s genuine review of how they perceived your food and service.

This was the weakest, blandest Pho I've ever had. Tiny portion size, even if you order an extra large, with only 2 or 3 slices of meat. An incredible rip-off! Additionally, I asked for extra chili oil and was given none. Thanks but no thanks.

After such blatant lies I wish I had taken a picture of the order to prove to all what tall tales these people tell. There was a single ramaken of hoisen sauce, no chili oil. I would also love to know how informing the public that your portions are tiny benefits me whatsoever. Please do explain. Furthermore, upon closer inspection of the reviews for this place, they appear to scammer to reply to the one star reviews in an effort to discredit the reviewer. Scumbag tactics on full display. Take a look for yourselves. They only respond to 1 star reviews. Avoid this place, its mediocre to bad food and their PR spokesperson is a liar. Plain and simple.

So, first time ordering from this place as our regular place is closed Mondays. I have to say I have a rather neutral impression and I'll tell you why. The spring roll was very nice, flavourful and well cooked with the right amount of soft and crisp. The ingredients were fresh and the noodles and meat cooked well. While there was nothing wrong with the quality of the food it lacked flavour. It was rather bland. Even the peanut garnish was so well crushed you didn't taste it. Also the portion sizes were half of what we normally get elsewhere for the same price So really while there was nothing wrong with the meal itself it didn't satisfy my love of flavour. My palate was left disappointed as there wasn't anything that really made it stand out or make me say "o I have to order this again." I gave it a neutral rating as for those who prefer subtle flavour this would be fine for you but for those who like more, both in portion and seasoning, this is will probably leave you wanting. Absolutely no issues in ordering or with staff, pleasant overall experience just not my #1 choice for this type of food...
